Overview

Introducing Ice Code, an advanced co-polymer monofilament from Tecnifibre. This string's ultra controlled response on full swings enables big hitters to attack the ball with their most powerful strokes. The result is a heavy combination of spin and power. With its durable construction and low-friction surface, Ice Code holds its playability longer than the average co-poly. Ultimately, this is a great option for experienced players who want spin, precision and durability. The fact that it lasts longer than many of its competitors is a nice bonus.

  • Gauge: 18/1.20mm
  • Length: 660ft/200m
  • Composition: Co-polyester Monofilament
  • Color: White

Hard PolyNice string but it’s a very hard poly. I’m not the type of person who complains about arm pain from equipment. After one session I cut these strings out and had it restrung with a softer poly. I play with control/spin around 55 pounds. I’d say this string is for power hitters at lower tension who want more control.

Awesome StringI have been using this string exclusively for the last couple of years. I buy them in bulk whenever Tennis Warehouse has a sale or a special. It is a “soft” string considering it is monofilament. It is not quite as “dead” as other monofilament strings and not as lively or powerful as multifilament strings. For me and my playing style, it offers the perfect balance of power, control and spin.I play with the Wilson RF Autograph that weighs 365 grams strung. I replace the strings every 10-12 hours. I tried monofilament strings from 4 different manufacturers, but this is my favorite.

Has Become My String Of ChoiceI have used many polyester strings, but finally settled on the Ice Code as my string of choice. I use the 18 gauge, as it is forgiving, well as forgiving as polyester strings can be, has good feel and bite and can provide some power, but not at the cost of control. It lasts longer than the other strings with which I have played and I recommend it.
