This ultra spin friendly co-poly will give you the tools to hit a heavy ball

Meticulously engineered with the help of former ATP player Steve Johnson, O-Toro combines effortless spin with above-average comfort for the breed. Boasting six sharp edges, this co-poly puts an extremely tight grip on the ball. It also has a low-friction surface, enabling it to snap back powerfully to amplify ball rotation.  In addition to being ideal for experienced players who swing big and require a high level of control, our TW playtesters also found plenty of pocketing, comfort, and power at lower tensions. Any way you slice it, this spin-monster brings the ball down hard. Game on!

Note: Toroline sets come pre-cut in 2 half sets, which means they cannot be strung as 1pc.

  • Gauge: 17/1.23
  • Length: 40ft/12.2m
  • Composition: Co-polyester monofilament

Not For Older PlayersI ordered this string to try it out! I strung my Yonex Vcore 100 at 45lbs hoping to get more power and softer string bed but it did not happen! I did not feel any ball pocketing or power but I must say this string generates spin, unfortuntely my arm started to feel sore after 1 hr of hitting with this string. I think this is not a good string for the players with elbow or wrist issues

I've tried them all, you should tooThis is a string that craves racquet head speed and a low to high swing path. If you don't have either, don't even bother as you won't be able to take advantage of the strengths of the string. The feel is a little plasticky feeling, the spin is there in abundance (more so even vs otoro spin), power and control are there. The one deficiency that I have dealt with using this string over the past year and some change is the playability duration. I can get a good 4-6 hours out of the string and then SNAP or it bags out. If that doesn't happen first, I cut the strings out after 2 weeks in the frame. I've noticed the white, orange, and black tend to hold their tension a little bit better but the pink and green do not. I have tried this string as low as 35 pounds to as high as 48 pounds with a 2 pound +/- differential in crosses in a 18x19 string pattern. Power, launch, and control adjust as expected whether you go up or down in tension. It's my go to string. Now that there is black, I have purchased multiple black reels. I am a 5.0 player in my 30's.

Feels Like CheatingI'm honestly torn about whether playing with a string like this is good for development. The ball shape on heavy spin shots is absurd. So often it seems like the ball will sail long before nosediving and kicking up.The comfort is amazing as well, all without sacrificing control. I string it at 47lbs on my 2026 Pure Aero 98, but you can easily go higher, especially with a lower RA racquet. Hands down the best string I've ever hit with.

Best string that existThis is the best poly that has snapback and control! I pair it with Toroline Snapper as a cross and it really works!

Only for advanced playersI tried this on my Pure Aero as a developing 3.5 player. It was very hard to use. It needs great amounts of racquet head speed to actually snapback. Don't bother unless you are already a 4.0-4.5 player at a minimum.

Very spin friendlyWhen I first got this string I thought it would be alright. But this blew away all my expectations. I have this in a hybrid with o toro snap and the spin potential is insane. I think the durability is alright. I do not break the string but they lose the tension before I can break it. The only things is it is a tad bit launch and I might switch to a stiffer main

Good stringGreat mix of spin and control, and it's not too stiff for a poly. Definitely my favorite Toroline string. Why doesn't it come in orange anymore??

DependableI’ve been using O-Toro for the past year—green, orange, and now white. I even hybridized them with natural gut, but now I’m back to full poly again. Same responsiveness, great spin, arm-friendly, and fairly priced. If you want the benefits of poly without destroying your arm, don’t hesitate to try it.
