Overview

The Solinco Weighted Butt Cap (10 gram) is the perfect tool to quickly and easily add mass and a more head light balance to your Solinco racquets. Simply remove the trap door butt cap on your Solinco racquet, click in the new butt cap, and you're ready to play!

This butt cap adds approximately 10 more grams to your racquet's overall static weight, and shifts balance more headlight by 2-3 points.

If you try with a different brand, be carefulI've been looking into adding weight and not use a putty etc and this is the best thing I could find. Though yes, its supposed to be used on it's own brand, I was pretty confident that it would work on a different one. I've looked up on youtube, message boards, reviews here, they all pointed that it should work. It goes in but does not flush and have big gaps on the edges. I'm using a wilson pro staff v14 97. The edges leaves gaps. I'm not sure how the guy on youtube got it to look gapless. I'm keeping it as it looks solid and if i ever get a racquet that can really fit it with a different brand it would be nice

Fit Wilson racquetsConfirming this fits the buttcap of modern Wilson racquets. My specific case is a RF01 Pro, but believe this fits the entire modern Wilson catalog. Easy swap with the stock cap and simple and removable way to add some weight in the handle.

Actually 13 grams in weightI just ordered six of the 10g butt caps and they all are actually 13 grams each. So if the original caps are 3 grams then it will add additional 10 grams in replacing it. Interesting find: these are the exact same size as the Prince trap door butt caps - they fit in the same place but they don't “snap” into place. If wanting to use in a Prince butt cap for weight just place it in the same spot as the removable trap door and put it in upside down (fits better) and then you can glue it in and I would recommend then covering the end cap with a Tourna Power Cap (not needed but adds a few more grams and will create a finished butt cap look). This is a great way to add weight to the handle without having to mess with putty and cotton stuff that's a mess inside the handle or weight strips changing the handle feel and thickness. Great product, just be aware that it's heavier than the 10g listed.
