Yu JiangConfidential has great ball speed and control. If you don’t have any elbow issues, I highly recommend using this string. When I use it on the Rafa Origin (RA 71), it clearly makes my elbow feel uncomfortable. But on the Yonex Percept 97D (RA 62), I have no issues with my elbow at all.

Trying Solinco stringsI bought Solinco Confidential and Tour Bite for my daughter who started playing college tennis recently. She uses Wilson NXT but she needs more control and spin. I searched the internet for a few months and I was really surprised by the comments made by other tennis players regarding both of these strings. She’s really excited about her switch to polyester strings (on her own racquet) because she tried them on other player’s racquets before! We love your service!!! Thanks!

Packs the right amount of everythingMaybe if you are an intermediate player this one is not the right for you and you might want to look for a string that helps you a bit more but sacrifices control. If you are an advanced player looking for a string that does everything well and in the correct amount, this is the string for you. Pair it with my Blade V9 and the solid and comfortable feel is as good as it can get, the string does what I tell it to do, and in the correct amount, 100% predictable. Tried a lot of strings before arriving to this one: Polytour rev (good one), Polytour strike (crispy at first then too bouncy), Volkl Cyclone (good spin and good enough control), Hyper-G (good spin but unpredictable, overrated), but Confidential is absolutely superior. Keep in mind that I like strings that feel solid while comfortable and that can give lots of feedback so I can loosen my arm so that I can generate my own power and spin.

Best all-around string on the marketOf all the strings I tried, Confidential has to be my favorite. Tour Bite is close, but Confidential is just so predictable that I have to put it ahead. It gives massive spin, durability, and although the feel is “muted,” the ball doesn’t feel lost or mushy like it does in newer high snap back strings. I tend to break strings every 5-7 hours of hitting depending on the string and gauge (this lasts for about 6) and I don’t notice a drop in tension until about half an hour before the string is about to break. Although there are a few strings I prefer off the stringer to this, it maintains playability better and at a much better price.

Wish it held tension longerReally like how this plays when freshly strung and love the more subtle color of this compared to some others I've used. Unfortunately as others have noted the string loses tension more quickly than any other Solinco string I've played with.

Good stringGood string - great spin. Not too stiff. Recommend it if Hyper G is just too much for you.
Great string at firstGreat string when freshly strung and when it settles. Tension loss is a real problem, at least when I used it in my Radical Pro.
Solinco ConfidentialThis is one of the best strings I have played with. I went for the 16L gauge at 50 lbs in my Head Extreme Tour. It feels a little metallic for the first 15-20 minutes of hitting, then plays extremely well. You can place the ball wherever you want on the court with this string. It also gives the ball a ton of spin if your play style is spin-based. The tension maintenance is fantastic. Ball pocketing is great. It has great feel as well when hitting drop shots and slices.
The only downside to this string, as with other poly strings, is that it can feel stiff or buzzy with vibrations when hitting with it. Add a button or worm dampener like I did, and that problem is solved. Highly recommend!
