Penn Tour tennis balls are a premium option used in 4 of the 5 largest tournaments in North America. Designed for the pros, they are a favorite across the sport. The regular duty felt creates a softer hitting experience compared to the extra duty version, but it is not as durable on hard courts. Smart Optik treatment adds 19% better visibility on court and they are approved for ITF and USTA tournaments. We recommend them for clay, grass, omni and carpet.

Comments: All five cans of the Penn Tour Regular Duty balls I opened from the case I purchased had at least one dead ball upon opening. TW gave me a full refund except for the initial shipping charge. From the reviews, the Penn Tour extra duty had similar issues.

Comments: I have been buying Wilson balls for years and never had a dud, not even once. Just tried two boxes of these and we had 2-3 duds per box, what's more they do not seem to like hard hitting, and seem to die off pretty quickly in their first session. To add insult to injury, these balls have hard rubber lumps that lead to off bounces if it so happens to hit the ground right on that spot. I find it hard to believe that these balls would be used on the pro tour. I do not recommend these.
