Relatively Elbow Friendly PolyAfter struggling with severe tennis elbow for some time (mostly due to age and playing with stiff polys), I finally took some time off to let it settle down. I now play with one of two string beds: a full bed of Babolat Xalt for when I notice any elbow pain, and a hybrid bed of Xalt in the mains and this string in the crosses for when my elbow is feeling good. The hybrid bed has noticeably more bite on the ball than the full bed of Xalt, but is still very gentle on the arm. It is significantly more arm-friendly than a hybrid bed of poly and synthetic gut without sacrificing too much spin or control.

String Helps Shoulder ProblemI am a former college player and have a long swing and used to love the pop of a good stiff poly coupled with a stiff racquet, I switched to a new less stiff racquet because of shoulder problems and tried out several different strings to reduce the impact on my shoulder. This is the best string I've found and its soft like a multifiliment but has the longevity of a poly and is more durable. Multifiliments usually last me less than a set. This string doesn't give me the "pop" I used to have on my ground strokes but I find I can swing harder with less margin for error. I have more control. Doesn't feel as powerful and it was something I needed to transition to but I'm happy with it now.
