Overview

Kirschbaum Max Power provides big hitters with the control needed to achieve maximum acceleration. In other words, this string's low-powered response will allow players to take huge cuts at the ball when adding pace and spin. The feel is quite firm and the stringbed response is extremely predictable. A great option for any player who likes attacking the ball without having to worry about over-hitting.

Kirschbaum pre-stretches this string in order to improve tension maintenance and playability duration.

Very good strong last longI love these strings, they are my go-to. Especially playing two to three days per week, they do last me quite a few months

Comments: Best string for me. I like it better than Babolat, Solinco, or the higher priced Luxilon ALU. It provides amazing control in the 16 gauge version. A full bed at 55 pounds works well with no elbow issues. Elbow problems are often the result of poor form. Tuning up those old strokes learned 20 years ago may help correct elbow issues.

Comments: Honestly feels like Pro Line 2, strung both up in two Pro Staff 97's and didn't notice much of a difference between the two. Pro Line may give slightly more power, but control is more important than comfort at higher levels of play. I tried in a full bed, average stiffness compared to other polys. Feels good when you hit out, control is amazing. If you get elbow or arm discomfort, I suggest strengthening your shoulders, it takes all the unnecessary force off of your arm lateral epicondyle of humerus especially, lots of ligaments there.

Comments: I agree with the comment below. Very stiff in a full bed, but amazing as a hybrid with gut mains. It adds the right amount of crispness to the string bed, has good feel for volleys, manages the power of the gut, allows for great spin, gives very good control, and has great tension maintenance! Highly recommend as a cross string. I think it works better than proline II in a hybrid

Comments: The best string on the market and the worst string on the market all in the same string. If you use a full bed of Max Power, there's a good chance your elbow and shoulder may be sore, as this is a very stiff and dead string. If you do use this in a full bed, I would recommend dropping the tension 3-5 pounds. This is the best if you use this in a hybrid with natural gut, first there's no pain and second you can literally swing for the fences and everything will stay in the court. Honestly, I'm surprised more pros don't use Max Power in their natural gut hybrid.

Comments: The jury is still out...I played about an hour with the Max Power at low tension. Deader than I thought it would be. Did nothing special. I will give it one more try and then comes the removal. TW rocks, they have the best choices for strings and tennis gear!

Comments: Strung this at 48 lbs in my Yonex Ai100. Really enjoyed the controllable power. Didn't have any arm issues at all. Nice spin on my serves and overheads were hit hard and didn't fly everywhere. I was able to have nice touch on shots at the net.

Comments: One of the better strings I have hit with from a performance point of view. My elbow and shoulder were a little sensitive after the first session. And pain emerged after the second and third time using it. I had to cut it out. Great string for those without any history of arm problems.

Comments: Sharp, shooting elbow pain after just 4 shots. Strung at 47 lbs in Pacific Gut/poly on the RF97. Going back to Pro Line II.
