Tested by pro players and made to hold up with durability, stability, and most importantly the comfort for the long rallies.

Taking the high level of support and comfort that has been trusted by KSwiss's pro tour players, the KSwiss Ultrashot 4 Clay has an even more stable foundation, and plusher cushioning than before. An all new 360 degree plantar support chassis has been added to supply a stable feel on court, that competitive players need when pushing-off and changing directions. The midsole cushioning is equipped with even more bounce and energy return, which helps players like Frances Tiafoe move with power and explosiveness! Our playtest team has always been a fan of the comfort of the Ultrashot line, however these shoes haven't always been the most breathable, and with this 4th edition KSwiss maintains the support and adds a lot of ventilation. The Aosta 7.0 rubber is formed into a full herringbone tread pattern for maximum grip on clay courts.
  • Upper: DuraMesh and DuraPrint combine for comfort, support, and a high level of breathability.
  • Midsole: Surge 7.0 cushioning feels plush for increased comfort. Shock Frame molded TPU under the heel for shock absorption and support. 360 Plantar Support Chassis for mid-foot and heel stability.
  • Outsole: Aosta 7.0 durable rubber outsole in a multi-directional herringbone pattern; Dragguard 7.0 thicker rubber in high wear regions, to help extend the life of the outsole. Full herringbone tread pattern provides ideal traction on clay courts.
  • Color: White / Stargazer

Lateral DurabilityThe shoe is super comfortable, if a bit heavy, but the outside of the shoe, right next to the pinky toe has some sort of plate underneath the sole and the rubber on that part of the shoe wears out very quickly. I have worn out two of them, each within two months.

Downgrade from last modelI upgraded from the Ultrashot 3s hoping for a similar experience and man was I wrong. The sole durability on these vs the 3s are night and day. Be warned that you will wear through the tread extra quick on these.

Great shoe againI have two pair and really love em. The quality is top notch and the bottom outer soul is really durable. I'll keep buying more!

Not for meI tried this shoe, as I’m a big fan of the Ultrashot 3, and was curious to see how the Ultrashot 4 would compare. Unfortunately, the US 4 is way too tight in the forefoot for me; I could barely get it on and it was immediately painful. I had ordered two pairs, which I returned, and then ordered two additional pairs of the US 3. I can only hope that the Ultrashot 3 isn’t going to be discontinued anytime soon!

Comfortable but not durableMy son normally goes through a durability shoe in 2-3 months. He was through the outsole of this shoe in 2 weeks. He said the shoe was really comfortable.

Heavy, low cushioningThese shoes are very heavy. Bought based on FDZ YouTube review, certainly not cushioned like he says.

Almost a great shoe, durability is an issueI love these shoes. It's a great design and a lot of different features with them. But after a little more than a month, I can tell that durability is a major issue. The bottom shock frame TPU is already getting pretty banged up. My left heal is scratched up. The right heal is actually cracked. The outer sole is almost wearing out to the midsole. Thankfully these shoes have a durability guarantee, but if these shoes only last 2-2.5 months, I might actually go through 2 of these pairs in less than 6 months. Yikes!

Durability is garbageThe durability of these shoes was horrendous. Outsole wore out within 6 weeks. I’ve had multiple pairs of the Ultrashot 3’s and never had this issue. It is really a major step backwards for this line. I’m pretty disappointed in K-Swiss with this offering.
