The latest update to the Speed MP doubles down on the outstanding feel and controllable power that has long defined the Speed franchise. Compared to the Speed Pro, the Speed MP 2022 is not only lighter and faster, it also packs a more modern and spin-friendly string pattern. Ball feedback is impressive thanks in part to its classic straight beam and sub 65-RA. For 2022, Head keeps Graphene 360+, which combines the stability and power of Graphene 360 with SpiralFibers in the lower head for a cleaner feel at impact. Head also adds a uniquely flexible Auxetic construction in the yoke, which calibrates ball feedback to impact force. Intermediate and advanced players looking for controllable power and great feel will love this one.

Great BuyThe Speed MP Racquet is a great choice, it is comfortable and arm friendly. It is not heavy and my spin performance has improved.
Not a good fit for me.I bought the Speed MP because the spin racquet that I usually use was a bit too stiff for my elbow. I find this racquet to be more demanding and it required me to work fairly hard which my wrist and elbow did not appreciate. This is a control racquet with medium spin. It felt slow through the air but stable upon contact with the ball. The launch angle is average. It was really good on serves. But, I went back to my spin racquet which is easier and more fun to play with and has more power.
My new MPI’m sure this is not the same racquet Jannik plays with , (22mm), this new version needs some modifications, little more weight and a good string + new technique (it is different from Babolat Aero), but it has great potential for spin and power, more friendly on arm. I play with Babolat Aero and prestige mid, and Wilson RF, each must have their own techniques to master.
Excellent combination of feel, spin and powerCandidly, I don’t have a lot to compare this too since I didn’t try out other racquets, but I am very happy with all aspects of this one. I’d buy it again. Good enough for world number 1, Jannik Sinner, it’s probably good enough for me.

Good but room to growThis frame has been a good introduction back into the game but what is missing for me is more pop or heft. I didn't seem to generate as much pace as I thought I would with this frame coming from a Prestige Mid Graphene 360+. I have added some lead tape to bump the swing weight a touch and it's helped but not as much. I would imagine this frame would be a lot better if I had access to a RDC machine so I could tweak it to my liking without having to guess. Something I liked about the frame is that it's quite comfortable compared to others, and the ball dwells in the string bed quite well.
2022 Head Speed MpBest Head Speed all around racquet. Recommended for intermediate & pro players. The only downsize is the price. It’s pricey for an old model racquet. Will buy again when the price drops.
ConnectedBest way I can describe the MP is a blend of feel and connectedness along with power and spin. Kind of a Prestige/Extreme blend honestly. It’s not a hugely open or closed pattern for a 16x19 in the hitting zone so control is also good. Downsides not much if any honestly IMO. Graphics are understated clean and classy by that’s subjective. Really great all around stick.
Best racquet so farI recently got this and feel like I’m untouchable with this racquet. I switched from the Gravity MP to this and I love my decision. I’m a 3.0 and I feel like this racquet makes me a 4.0. Great feel, touch, and my shots are more powerful with this racquet. Strung with Velocity MLT at 52 lbs and I love the setup.
First time trying HeadThis racquet is a game-changer for me ! After switching from my Wilson juice (old enough) I felt the swing-weight and had to adjust, but after a month, I found my rhythm with my backhand and drive. My serve also was also solid. What's most important is that, unlike my previous Yonex (previous than Wilson but had to change due some arm pain, gave me tennis elbow) this racquet is super arm-friendly, even with the weight. You just need to adapt and it responds great,
