Overview

Head adds another chapter to the Extreme MP, one of the game's premier modern player's racquets. Like other members of the Extreme family, this racquet features Graphene 360+, which combines the stability and power of Graphene 360 with SpiralFibers in the lower head for a cleaner feel at impact. It also comes with a reinforced Spin Shaft for greater torsional stability, along with 360 Spin Grommets which use larger funnel shaped grommets to enable greater string movement and vicious snapback (think heavier ball rotation). Compared to the previous version, this update has a slightly higher RA, giving it a crisper and more powerful feel. However, even with a slightly stiffer beam, it remains one of the most  arm-friendly racquets in its class. On groundstrokes, the Graphene 360+ Extreme MP feels solid at impact, and it packs enough dynamic mass for trading heavy balls with big hitters. Intermediate and advanced players will  find it fast enough for whipping up juicy levels of spin or cranking winners on the run. At net the Extreme MP comes around with plenty of speed to deliver a solid feel at impact. It also has enough pop to finish points with a bang. Aggressive servers who can get this stick moving fast will find enough pop, spin and precision to force some very weak replies. The Extreme MP also shines on service returns where it is stable enough to counterpunch a big first serve while also being very dangerous on full cuts. With this update Head continues to improve the Extreme franchise. Aggressive players looking to dominate the court with power and spin should add this to their demo list.

Great all-around racquet for the sale priceSo I played tennis almost daily for a decade when I was younger. High school into college and a solid 4.0 to 4.5 player. Put the racquet down for decades and now playing again at 55. Excellent for server and volley with solid ground strokes. I have a topspin 2-handed backhand that works great with the racquet. At times use a Western grip for forehand and easy to direct the ball with all types of spin. Went lower on the string tension for more feel and it's a really nice to use.

Head extreme continues to rock itI think this is the sixth generation of the Head Extreme line racquets I have used, and I continue to be impressed. For me this is just right in terms of being stable and heavy enough for consistency in groundstrokes but also nimble enough for finesse volleys. Well done.

GREAT RACKETExcellent racquet, strung with Solinco Hyper G Soft 1.25 with 52 mains and 50 in the crosses, at the beginning it took me a little time to calibrate my shots since they went off the court but once I was able to adjust a bit of spin it became a strong and deep shot machine. My playmates felt that my balls were heavy. Definitively I am very excited to play this racket, it is a lot of fun to hit deep shots, and if you play topspin you will love this racket. The head is light and swings very easily, you just have to keep in mind to make full blows so that the ball stays within the court. A lot of easy power and I like that because I can save that energy for the game and not wear myself out so much with each hit. Highly recommended.

Great FeelDemoed several racquets (9 to be clear), but loved the feel and touch of this racquet. It being on sale was the icing on the cake. Yea, I know there is now an “Auxetic” one with a new fancy paint job, but this one is hard to beat (especially for the price)!

Terrific tweener- add weight for a proIf you are looking for more error-tolerant version of the Babolat Pure Aero or a softer on the arm version of the Babolat Pure Drive, this is your racquet. Tons of spin, fast through the air (for a 100, at least), huge sweet spot, and the power is mostly controllable. The high (for a rec racquet) swingweight helps control shots, although you still need good technique to prevent "launchy" mishits. Topspin and slices are deadly with this racquet (the "spin grommets" are for real, they aren't just a marketing gimmick). This racquet only has four possible cons: (1) it's a bit stiffer than a true control frame; (2) it may be too much power for a strong player; (3) it breaks strings, so you're best advised to use a durable poly; and (4) a strong player will want to bring the swingweight up to 330+ for more control, making it more like the Extreme Pro, which is the same mold but heavier.

Love this racquetAfter demo-ing about 6 racquets, I chose this one. I love HEAD racquets but wasn't expecting to like this one because of the extra weight in the head. But boy, that head weight enabled me to return balls I normally would not have been able to get back with other racquets. Also, it recommends on the racquet to string between 55-60lbs tension. With Poly string, I would go tighter (60lbs) because they will losen up quicker over time. But I've been excited about my game again with this new racquet!

Great racquetWe demo'd 3 racquets and my son liked this one for the control, feel and the spin it imparts. He is very happy with his racquet.

Previous Feedback

Comments: It's an awesome racquet. I demoed many Babolat, Head and Wilson racquets, and this one definitely stands out with the perfect displacement of weight. I put on Babolat RPM Blast, and it complimented the racquet perfectly. I did buy a dampener, and now it's definitely the best racquet I have ever swung.

Comments: The racquet hit great. and the TW team who help me were great. I would definitely recommend this racquet to anyone. Sadly, within 8 months the frame of the racquet cracked, but the warranty team was amazing and I got a refund within 2 days.
From: Ryan, Texas, 12/5/21

Comments: Have used it for about a month. Had it strung at low end. Good feel. Solid and well balanced. Very happy with it.
From: Richard, Tarzana, California, 10/25/21

Comments: The 360+ Extreme MP is a great beginner-intermediate frame. It has great power, a high launch angle for net clearance and spin, and good pop. The balance is a little more head heavy than I like, but the 300 gram unstrung static weight makes up for it. It is like a softer Babolat Pure Drive, with great pop and explosiveness, but the feedback is a little softer on the arm. Fantastic racquet for those needing help creating spin and power.

Comments: One month using the racquet so far and it feels great from the baseline and on serves. I set the strings up for power and took a bit of adjustment for volleys and slices but it was just part of getting used to it. I'd definitely recommend.
From: Abel, US, 10/10/21

Comments: Love this racquet! Wish it came with a cover.
From: Eila, United States, 9/22/21

Comments: I bought this frame for an experiment just to see how this kind of racquet will be working for me in light of the fact that I am flat hitter and do not give a lot of spin the most. I have been playing with this racquet for couple of months already and it's okay however I will definitely need to customize it to add more stability. It's easy to gain power with this frame, I like direction control and feel. I don't like volleys and slices. But general impression is very positive, it basically doesn't fit to my game 100%.

Comments: The sales person that helped on the phone when I was ordering me was very knowledgeable and friendly. Purchasing from Tennis Warehouse was a positive experience and I would do it again. Love the racquet that I purchased.
From: Elias, 5/5/21

Comments: I really like the Head Graphene 360+ Extreme MP racquet. I am a 4.0 level player who stays on the baseline and hits heavy topspin. I demo'd at least six or seven racquets of the exact same weight as this one, 10.6 ounces unstrung, 11.2 ounces strung. For whatever the reason I liked the Extreme the best. I don't know why, but it seems very friendly for someone who hits with topspin. I am overall very happy with the purchase.
From: David, 3/14/21

Comments: Very comfortable with a nice tacky grip and I hit great with it. I love it!
From: Saskia, 2/21/21

Comments: This is my third Extreme, the Youtek IG 2.0 Pro and Extreme Pro were the others. The new Extreme MP's maneuverability and touch are improved, but the drop in static and swingweight is a departure from prior iterations. Overall, it's a fine racquet with no significant downsides unless one is used to heavier frames. I had no problems using full swings on groundstrokes, and it is spin-friendly, as advertised. I was able to hit my spots while serving, but spin, rather than power, is the frame's strong suit. I would recommend for doubles or players who rely on placement and spin, rather than pace.
From: Doug, 2/16/21

Comments: Quite hard to control, the feel isn't good, but acceptable. Volleys are okay, others are all great. Strung with Solinco Hyper-G and Solinco Vanquish.
From: Jordan, 11/1/20

Comments: I feel like I'm in great control with this racquet. Great balance for spin and power too. So happy I did the demo and then made the decision. I tried out the Aero, Aero Team, Dunlop FX 350, and the Head MP Extreme. The Head MP Extreme was the clear winner for me. I think I prefer polyester strings over multifilament too. That might have been a big reason why I chose Head Extreme MP. The racquet grip also felt more comfortable than the others. Lastly, I couldn't have done all this without speaking with a tennis expert at Tennis Warehouse. Seriously. These people know their stuff and can really help guide you through making an informed decision. Thanks again.
From: Greg, 11/1/20

Comments: This is a very comfortable racquet and plays like Yonex EZONE 100 with more spin. The slice is especially great.
From: Obaid, 10/20/20

Comments: Loving this racquet. It took me about 20 hours of play to really get the most out of it, you need to get used to its balance and spin so you can better hit the ball the way you want. Great spin, but need the right strings, I tried about 10 different strings among the best for this racquet, they are Head Lynx Tour 16, Prince Vortex Triad 16, although I believe the Head strings are slightly better. Not the best at the net though.
From: Emanuele, 10/19/20

Comments: I love this racquet. It has great power, and the spin that I can put on the ball is excellent. Now I just have to improve my game to the level that the racquet can deliver. My customer service experience was excellent. I tried three racquets through the demo program and the team at Tennis Warehouse helped me pick the best racquet for my skill level and style of play.
From: Mark, 10/3/20

Comments: Good update from the previous Graphene 360 Extreme MP. Specifications are stiffer, but it's not that noticeable at my 4.0 level. The Plus plays a bit less muted and perhaps a bit crisper than its predecessor. Feel is slightly enhanced from the baseline. I use both versions with a full bed of Black Code 17 at 52 pounds. Will try Yonex Poly Spin Tour G 16L to further tame these beasts.
From: Michael, 9/28/20

Comments: Very powerful and spin friendly from the baseline. Surprisingly, it volleys better than any tweeners I've enjoyed using. It was difficult to control at first, but using stiff polyester like the RPM Blast really brought out the best of this racquet. Highly recommended for the singles player who seek more power and spin in their games, big serve and volleyers, or the doubles players who want to hit harder on all their shots. This frame can crack and burn the felt off the balls.
From: Max, 9/26/20

Comments: Great racquet, fantastic speed and control. I am a topspin baseline player and this racquet is made for such shots. Happy with my choice.
From: Mehdi, 9/25/20

Comments: I absolutely love this racquet. After a short period of adapting to the new feel, I felt like I had more control and more power, which I desperately needed. I am so glad I made the switch to this racquet.
From: Susan, 9/21/20

Comments: Excellent fast customer service and delivery. The racquet is excellent, helps me generate lots of spin without losing any power. Would certainly recommend to people.
