easy breakThe string function as well as its 17 and 18 versions. But break quickly. I play about 5 times a week, the string will not last for a month. After hitting for about two weeks, check the sweet spot string cross points. the crosses get chipped halfway through. I recommend Gosen 17 which last much longer.

Too softThis string comes in 3 colors. Since the black was out of stock decided to try the clear color. The clear version strings and plays nothing like the black version - the clear is much softer and has “gummy” feel when stringing. The clear version likely lacks the carbon fillers in the black version that makes it stiffer. Clear version could very well be perfect for some players, but it should not be marketed as the same string as the black version.

Gosen PolylonGreat string for big hitting string breakers. I coach high level players most of them play with this string for the durability and feel. I've been recommending and using this string for about 20 years

Durability! Most durable strings on the planet! Tip: String it 4-5lbs looser to counter the stiffness I used to break strings every other day until I found these strings 13 yrs ago These strings are 4-5 times more durable, and equally cheaper, than any other strings on the market 10 UTR singles 11 UTR doubles

Tough stringI've been playing with 15L nylon for years and restringing my racquet every week from them breaking. I've been playing with this string in a 16 gauge for about a month and have yet to break them. I have noticed that I don't get quite the spin out of them that I did with other strings but they more than make up for it in durability. I will likely try them in a hybrid set up next.

Comments: I was wondering why this string gets so many different reviews. I put it in my RF 97 at 57/59 lbs, the tension I use with syn gut in this frame. After an hour or so, the string felt great, but it sort of "died" after a couple of outings. I then strung it at 55 lbs and it feels very good to me now, looking forward to seeing how long it will last me, but so far 10+ hours. Perhaps a problem with the string can be that at too high tensions, you "kill" the string (elasticity), and it feels dead.

Comments: This string is very stiff to me. I have never had arm problems until I played with a full bed of this string. It is fine in a hybrid setup though.

Comments: I am comparing this with the Polylon Ice. If you are looking for durability, tension retention and feel, the ice version is much better. Using Polylon natural is like using a synthetic -- they notch very easily, break after 10 hours of hitting (which is miserable for a polyester, the ice version easily lasts double the time), and lose tension fast.

Comments: This string is very good and works for me. It is softer than the Titanium Polys I've tried, so not as stiff as I had thought. it holds tension well, I use the transparent one and it looks like a fishing line. I'm entering my next tournament with this string, I'm happy with it.

Comments: This is what I play with. They never break on me and I alwaysend up cutting them off after a few weeks as they ware thin. Have usedthis stuff for years now. It's stiff but not to the point of beingharsh. I've strung it everywhere between 50 and 60lb. These days Istring around 55lb in a 95 sq.in. frame. Good stuff.
