Ultimate Power, quiet, plus controlGreat for tennis players. You get an elongated paddle, with amazing power, plus control. Not for new players. This paddle will give you a lot for your money. If you have no control, not for you. If you can dink and place already but, need a little more power, this is the paddle for you. I preferred this over the DBD line up and the Joola line up. I try all paddles. While I loved my GB Power Pro, it sadly became illegal. I feel this one has a bit more power but, you don't hear nor feel it as much but, the other side sure felt it. It did take a week of play though to get used to it. It is now my go to paddle and it upped my game. I'm a 5.0 player for reference.
Gearbox Pro Ultimate paddle 14mmGearbox Pro Ultimate paddle is generally good for its power and spin, but also it can be challenging to control and resets.The paddle softer feel contributes to more also due to "dead" area on the outer edges cause mishits. So small sweet spot and vibration which cause tennis elbow.
Consistency can be an issue as there are still some flyers, but it’s better than the Pro Power. The price is $274.99, which is on the higher side.
