Overview

Firm, low powered and durable. Gamma Poly Z 16 is great for the advanced player with long, fast strokes. Our TW playtesters were impressed by how reliably the ball came down on their biggest swings. The ability to swing big translates into huge spin. Strong players in search of maximum control and outstanding durability are advised to give this one a try. Decent comfort for a low-powered poly.

Great string if strung correctlyPlays very well if strung at 48 pounds or up to 60. Vibration if lower than that.

Feels best when strung low (40-42)Strung two Wilson K-Factor Pro Tours (96 sq in, RA about 64) with Gamma Poly-16 at 40-42 pounds. This felt good. Can absorb heavy shots and redirect with ease. Comfortable for a stiff poly, especially on low flex racquets. Pocketing is excellent. Doesn't make sense to string any higher tension.

Comments: My buddy got this free with his stringer but traded me for synthetic gut since his racquet is too big for a 40' set. It was great in my Babolat ltd gt at 45 lbs for a few sets but after that it was too jarring. If you want great control for a couple of hours and don't mind restringing right away I would recommend this for the price. I have discovered Kirscbaum strings since then and prefer their max power mains and multifibre crosses at 55/60 lbs. The price is three times higher but so far I have gotten over three times the amount of play. I string my own and realized that you get what you pay for in playability and longevity.

Comments: Awful string -- it feels like a piece of plastic. I could not recommend this string.

Comments: Very durable, low powered string. Would recommend for big hitters with long, fast swings.
