My review.My daughter was very pleased with the racquet. I was disappointed, given the price of the racquet, that it did not include a cover for the racquet. My daughter was also surprised. Additionally, i was pleased that the racquet arrived before Christmas. I made the purchase in the beginning of December then luckily opened an email from Tennis Warehouse informing me the order was canceled, since the type of string was not identified. That was not the case because my daughter was very explicit and gave me all of the information, which I provided to my initial sales representative. Not sure what happened but I did receive the racquet in time for Christmas so thank you very much for expediting the order and shipping -much appreciated.
Great Racquet, excellent serviceShipping is fast, and customer service is very responsive and polite. The free string service is very good. The racquet handle even has the stringer's signature on it, very professional.

Free String - who's complaining?Not sure why people knock on "free string" --- buyers have the option not to select it and if one doesn't like it --- just cut it out.
There are many novice players or students of the game that benefit from "free string" as some do not own a stringing machine or have the knowledge of what string(s) work for them.
I am grateful for the "free string" and I appreciate the time the technician/stringer put into it.

Very comfortable stringI used the free string with my new Wilson Ultra and the string is very comfortable. Strung at about 58 lbs... great power and no elbow issues at all !!

Package open on deliveryI ordered a new Head Gravity Team (old model) as a spare, with the free synthetic gut and a complimentary t-shirt was also supposed to be in the box…
However, the package dropped off on my doorstep by UPS was open already and when I looked inside there was no T-Shirt !
The racquet was intact and undamaged so that was the main thing.
I ordered the free complimentary pre-strung synthetic gut not expecting anything special, and I was not disappointed, it’s garbage, and I cut it out after an hours play and restrung it myself !
The string quality I don’t have an issue with, I was expecting rubbish, but I was a bit miffed that the box was open on arrival and UPS just quietly left it on the doorstep not saying anything…
Free String with racket is terrificI bought my tennis racquet and thought that getting the free string was worth a try. I am thrilled I did it because I am happy with not only my new Babolat racquet but the way the ball hits my new strings. Thanks Tennis Warehouse for doing a quality job with providing top notch service with your tennis equipment.
Nice racketThis racquet is great as it is a little stiffer than my older Babolat One Drive. My old one is strung for avoiding tennis elbow, so it's I can't drive with it as I did in my younger days. Now, I can use my new Babolat for when I have a tough opponent and keep the other when I need to take it easy.
Yonex Ezone AlphaThe racquet is light and easy to swing, easy to generate top spin and power, volleying is easy. Swing weight is perfect, it definitely gives me a great chance competing in my matches. I would definitely recommend this product to intermediate and above tennis players. I was also looking at the Yonex Ezone 98, this definitely does the same job for basically half the price.
Free StringHe feels like a synthetic similar to the Prince Duraflex 16 gauge.
Great for my Babolot Pure Drive 110”.

Replacement RacquetsThe string went to PA to our twin grandsons, so I can't comment on them. But I DO want to thank Tennis Warehouse VERY much for the generous refund for our original purchase for our grandsons, applied to the purchase of bigger racquets for them. Their coach said that their Yonex racquets are "perfect"! THANK YOU!

Great all around.The Tempo 298 is a great all around racquet and just solid in every area. It isn't the most powerful, or is the most control oriented, but has plenty of both. This is perfect for me as a somewhat older player who needs that mix.

Prince Synthetic GutThere's probably not a whole lot new to add. It's the classic Prince Synthetic Gut. I've been hitting with it for three weeks now, and it's still holding up and responding well. It's also surprisingly easy on the elbow. I've been playing with multis for a long time, so I wasn't sure how my arm would respond, to syn gut, but there haven't been any issues.

Friendly for the arm and for the aimI bought this for my father in-law that has been playing with a Wilson Burn for almost 10 years now and he simply loves it. It has solved a lot of his wrist and elbow issues, and he's been playing better than ever with it. I tested it myself (Wilson Shift player) and it is quite impressive the amount of accuracy and power that the racquet has while also being friendly with your joints. The shots that I liked it the most are the serve and the forehand. The backhand and slice are not impressive, but it can help you put the ball into play. Really recommended for people that need a more comfortable racquet to play with, and even If you don't it might really surprise you if you test it. I strung it at 48 pounds and it makes it be really powerful without losing that much control.

I live in a tennis desert!It would be difficult for me to find a place to get a racquet strung where I live, as there are no sports stores at all for at least 150 miles! Getting a racquet strung to my liking is a plus of ordering from Tennis Warehouse!

Synthetic GuyI had my new Yonnex Ezone 98 strung with synthetic gut by TW. I wanted strings that would be arm friendly, while also allowing me to still hit with power. I went with a lower tension in the mid 40's. Absolutely felt great. Was able to still generate a lot of power and had no issues with my arm. Love the strings!

StringsJust bought a Head Boom MP and had them put the free strings that came with it in the racquet. They have no feel, seem dead, and seem way too loose. If you are going to offer free strings they should at least be playable.
Racquet likeThis racquet is very good and I'm still adjusting to the new power.
The string is tighter than what I'm used to, but I have no doubt it will be excellent.

Decent control, not enough spinHave played a few times now with these strings on my new Blade V8 100L. I find the strings have decent control but I guess that is expected out of syn gut strings.

Free stringI purchased the Dunlop CX200 and had the free strings added. No problems at all. The racquet preformed just fine.
Synthetic Gut StringsI've bought three racquets and had them strung with the free synthetic gut to test out the racquets and the strings are fine.
I have only been able to test one of the racquets out with the strings and it shifted a lot during my session. I wasn't even serving and it shifted all over the place. Constantly readjusting your string isn't fun and is a waste of time. Overall, it's hard to say but I would recommend using these as a placeholder or else just buy your favorite string.

Been playing with it for a couple of weeks, and decided to order another one to match the one I had.
Decent Strings As a beginner tennis player, these are the first strings I've ever used so I don't have any reference points to compare them to. I'd say they're a solid pair of strings that have held up to 3 weeks of "beginner abuse" and are still going strong.
