Comments: The Dunlop CX 400 Tour demo was strung with this Iconic All 17g. This is the first time I had heard of this string, but I was extremely impressed. It has the characteristic as advertised: power, comfort, and feel. It is extremely comfortable, and offers outstanding pocketing.I hate the price, but it's far better than my usual NXT string, and it's about a dollar less. Like any string, you have to string it at the best tension. Although it was superior in the CX 400 Tour demo (tension unknown), it wasn't so great when I tried it in my Dunlop CX 200 Tour at 55 pounds. It felt completely different, and wasn't plush like it was in the Dunlop FX 400 Tour. It was too tight for this smaller form. It had a firm feel, and I couldn't find the feel I was getting from the 400 Tour. Next time, I will drop the tension by 3-5 lbs in my 95 inch 18x20 frame.Bottom line, this string will become one of the most popular strings for players who prefer comfort, power, feel, and pocketing. It's perfect for players who value feel, shot variety, and a bit more power, without losing control.Solid senior 4.0 player
