Grommet ReplacementI bought a used 2023 Dunlop FX 500 Tour that had a worn through bumper guard. So, I purchased the grommet kit and took my first stab at installation. It’s not as easy as I thought it would be! Head guard came as a separate piece from the top grommets and the factory drilled holes in the head guard did not line up exactly with the drilled holes on the frame. So threading the pliable plastic grommets through slightly misaligned head guard and frame proved challenging. Having an awl and heat gun would make the job easier. I was able to successfully complete the install, but with more effort than it should have required. My stringer said he would have charged me $15 to do it, so probably would have been money well spent as it took me about an hour (again, it was my first time amd no heat gun). As always, TW customer service and delivery was on point!
