Customer Reviews
Explosive and cushionedThank you to Foot Doctor Zach for the great review. The best hard court shoes I’ve played on.
Great for comfort, below average for agility(4.0 all-court grinder, on court 10 hrs/week)
I picked up these shoes after wearing out my Speed B 2s looking for increased comfort. So far they held up well during longer sessions that don’t involve a ton of explosive movement. I can comfortably get through consecutive doubles matches without any issues. However, after the break-in period, the shoe doesn’t lock down as securely on my foot which occasionally leads to toe burning/blistering, specifically during singles matches/aggressive movement. If you have an aggressive playing or movement style, I’d recommend exploring other options before committing. That said, I still gave the shoes 4 stars because they remain extremely comfortable.
P.S. As others have mentioned, the laces are a bad, they’re overly long and have started to fray/tear. I’d recommend replacing them if you do choose to buy.
15 yearsbeen buying tennis shoes for over 15 years; best I've ever bought by far
Thank you FDZ!Foot Doctor Zach rated these #1 and he’s so right! They’re like stepping into a comfortable cloud bed but with the stability of the Barricade. Remind me of Asics Gel 9. Buy this shoe!
Laces are a problemI previously wore Nike Vapor Pros but I was looking for shoes with more support because I was developing knee pain and soles of the Nikes wore out too fast for me and replacing them was an inconvenience and extra cost.
While the Diadora Torneos are an excellent shoe for support, and I can make sudden side to side movements and sprints on the court confidently, the laces these shoes come with are horrible. They fray easily and are too long. I have to keep tightening them constantly. Also, my right shoe shoelace actually just fell apart one day in the middle of the shoe. I reached out to customer service at Diadora and they don’t care and sent me different off color laces. After follow up, they don’t have the original stock shoelaces available despite this shoe still being relatively new.
Amazing Tennis ShoesGreat fit. Best cushioning of any shoe I’ve ever owned. Quick break in.
Very satisfied customer.
OutstandingBeen unable to wear any athletic/tennis/court shoe for several years due to foot pain. This is the first shoe that allows me to play and exercise again. Previously I was using overly soft running shoes but now back to proper court shoes. Love them.
Very Comfortable! These are very good shoes! The fit, comfort, and support are outstanding. I likely would have given them five stars, but can't because I compare them to my Asics Gel Resolution 9's, which are a bench standard for me. Compared to my Asics, the above are all about the same (perhaps a little more comfortable with the cushioning), but the added weight, heat retention, and longer/slicker shoe laces are enough to downgrade the overall rating to 4 stars. Given you can't buy Gel Resolution 9's anymore, not sure there 's a better shoe out there right now. I would buy again.
Excellent cushioningThis is a really nice shoe for the right foot shape. It was perfect for me at first, but when it broke in, it was a little too roomy in the toe box. That is a me problem. Someone that wants more room in the toe box will love this shoe. The shoelaces are a bit odd. They become very thin when stretched, and can be a bit oddly tricky to untie.
Great All Around ShoeGreat All Around Shoe, good toe box for those that like that... great court grip... very comfortable... snug fit... with enough heel release as to not cause blisters.
