The Vertex series from Bullpadel is a power-first experience, and when it comes to maximum speed off the face of the racket, the Vertex 04 2025 is an excellent choice. This diamond-shaped racket is complemented by a weight range of 365 - 375 grams, making it a demanding experience considering its high balance. For those able to wield it, the racket's devastating levels of pace are most notable on overhead smashes and viboras. Internally, the Vertex 04 uses a MultiEVA layering system of rubber to make the racket more solid and stable throughout contact. To increase comfort in the handle, Bullpadel adds their Vibradrive elastomer along the length of the grip, which helps to mitigate harsher vibrations during contact. The combination of the CurvAktiv twisted side edge profiles and the larger AIR POWER channels in the throat makes the handling even faster, but our team still found the racket to be stable when absorbing heavier pace. New to this version of the Vertex 04 are Bullpadel's signature racket hole dampeners called "Ease Vibe," designed to boost comfort and stability on the hitting surface. The addition of Bullpadel's Custom Weight system is a nice touch, which allows for the placement of weighted gel plates of 3 grams each to be positioned around the racket to suit the individual player's needs. To help with generating spin, an Xtend Carbon 12k makeup is used for excellent grip on the ball. Compared to the Hack 04, the Vertex 04 is a slightly more demanding experience, but the upside is an increase in overall stability and power access. The Vertex 04 shines when looking to change the narrative of a point by injecting pace, forcing opponents to move away from their comfort zone.
