A great option for players who put a premium on comfort, and like a wider fit.

Designed for all-out comfort, these Babolat SFX 4 shoes now have even more cushioning between your feet and the court, and continue to offer a wider fit. Extra Cush foam in the midsole feels pillowy soft, while the mesh upper delivers a nice breathable and flexible feel. Rubber has been added to the medial side of the toe box and tip of the toe, to protect the mesh from foot-drag. Babolat's tried and true Michelin rubber is formed into a two piece outsole, with a TPU shank plate in between to help with stability. The herringbone tread has been beefed up in high wear zones for added durability, and the Michelin rubber delivers great traction on a variety of court surfaces.

  • Upper: Mesh upper offers support, breathability and flexibility; toe box shield for added durability.
  • Midsole: Extra Cush foam for plush comfort and shock absorption. TPU shank plate for stability; 8mm Ortholite insole.
  • Outsole: Michelin Performance outsole for impressive traction and durability on any court surface. Dense herringbone tread design increases grip and durability.
  • Color: Black / Illusion Blue

Great shoesI'm an older player that still moves decent on the court. These shoes provided plenty of cushion and stability. I usually wear ON Clubhouse Pro's, but since they don't make it in black anymore, I switched over to these. Get one size smaller. They last, and even after 3 hours of playing, I'm good to go!

Solid Shoe for Wide FeetI have hard to fit feet - high arch, high instep, and for 10+ years, loved the New Balance 1006 4E. NB replaced it with the NB 1007 with their "fresh foam technology;" was like playing tennis on a high, hard sponge. The NB 806 comes in 4E, but is an unforgiving tennis shoe that caused me foot pain. After thinking the 806 was my only option, a fellow player recommended the Babolat SFX 4 All Court. I needed shoe stretching liquid and a shoe stretcher to make it fit, but once done, it has been a great shoe, plenty of lateral support and shock absorption, and easy to run for a shot or make quick moves. It is a little on the heavy size, but once I played in it, I ordered three more pairs. If you need a size 4E, which only NB seems to have, I recommend the Babolat SFX 4 AC.

a downgrade from SFX3Having loved the softness and support of the SFX3 (had 2 pairs), I took a chance and bought the SFX4 at a very low price. My foot feels secure and stable inside. However, they are heavy, clunky and stiff. Not what I expected. Would not recommend.

SFX 4 AC drive bluei don’t like the extra cushion for this model.

More Support, Narrower ToeboxCompared with SFX3, SFX4 offers more support, cushioning, and stability, but has a narrower toebox; which meant I had go up half a size. Overall, the SFX4 feels better and more solid.

Drop the SFX4 and go back to the SFX3.I have worn SFX3 shoes for the last 20 years. They were great shoes with a great fit and feel. Sadly, Babolat has replaced the SFX3 with SFX4 that has a tight poor fit and feel even with a full size larger. I have now gone to the Babolat Jet Tere. They are much better than the SFX4 but far from as good as SFX3.

Pleasantly surpricedThese shoes look and feel sort of clunky at first, like crocks, but surprisingly comfortable and supportive after some time. Runs half size long. In general for a wider feet. Good if you are wearing inserts. Need a little bit of break in, but after that that feels comfortable on side to side and forward springs. Durability is still to be figured out but after a few weeks (5 times per week PB) I see some wear so unlikely I'll get more than 2-3 month out of it, which is not bad at all.

Decent shoeSizing runs min 1/2 large. Width runs great, cushion is great. Very comfortable shoe. I’m used to ON clubhouse pros and they keep running out of my size so my suggestion is to order 1/2 size smaller. I would recommend them. Also shoes make a lot of squeaky noises! Good for showing footwork!
