RPM Hurricane is big on control and spin. It's also quite firm, so we think it works best for intermediate to advanced baseliners with long, fast strokes. String breakers take note: this one offers excellent durability. The octagonal profile gives RPM Hurricane great bite, while the coating allows the strings to snap back with greater force. The result is a heavy ball loaded with spin, especially for players who swing big. Our topspin hitters noted that they could reach maximum swing speed because the spin brought the ball down so effectively. This is a great option for power baseliners who want the ultimate in spin, control, and durability.

Best string everI’ve been using Babolat Hurricane string for years. Tried a lot of other strings before settling on Hurricane for my main strings. I use the 17 gauge combined with Babolat Synthetic Gut on the crosses Great feel, easy to generate spin. I used to be a string breaker. Strings never lasted more than a few sets. Now I rarely break a string. I play 3 times a week and usually restring ever 2-3 months
Great stringI have been using Hurricane 17 for many years. Use it for the mains in a hybrid setup with Babolat Synthetic Gut in the crosses. Provides great control and I feel like I can hit hard without worrying about the ball going long. You definitely have to provide your own power with this string. I rarely break a string these days using this setup. I play 3 times a week and restring every 3 months or so. I’d recommend this string to anyone that is looking for more control but likes to hit the ball hard.

Great stringI have been using Babolat RPM Hurricane for years, combined with Babolat Synthetic Gut. Good feel, good control, and great spin production. Last a long time too although I try to restring every 2-3 months. I play doubles three days a week and I have broken a string only twice in the last 5-10 years
