Engineered for speed.

With its fabled combination of speed, power, and spin, the Pure Aero practically stands in a class by itself, not just for its legendary accomplishments, but also for its easy learning curve and universal appeal. Like the many versions that came before it, the Pure Aero 2026 features the same basic spec formula that has attracted generations of players. With its sub-325 swingweight, it offers easy acceleration from the baseline and quick handling at net, delivering the kind of spin-friendly targeting that puts the lines in play. For 2026, Babolat re-engineers the geometry of the shaft to reduce wind drag, giving this speedy racquet an even more explosive feel, making it even easier to whip up spin, generate pace, or reset the point with an outstretched flick. Other updates include the latest version of NF2 Tech, a dampening technology that uses flax fibers in strategic locations to provide a softer, more arm-friendly ride. As with the previous generation, this update has FSI Spin Technology, which combines Babolat's time-tested Woofer system with strategically placed Spin Grommets to increase dwell time and string movement, generating greater spin and a more responsive feel on angled contact. With some nice updates to the feel coupled with a more aerodynamic geometry, the Pure Aero continues to evolve. Players looking for speed, spin, and power should start here.

New Pure Aero for 2026Before I get criticized — yes, I'm one of those 3.5 players trying to be a 5.0. After years of dealing with shoulder issues and using Head Radicals exclusively, I went through the process of demoing new equipment a couple of years ago. One of my hitting partners used the Aero Rafa, and after trying it a few times, I went down the rabbit hole of demoing just about everything out there. In the end, I settled on the 2023 Pure Aero. It had that added pop I was looking for, and I genuinely enjoyed playing with it. But over the past six months, I had to take a hard look in the mirror and realize… I'm not that guy. The racquet actually had too much pop for my game, and I felt like my progress had started to plateau. I started hearing all the buzz about the 2026 Pure Aero and after doing my research and getting intrigued by the changes, I took a leap of faith. Ironically, because I loved my 2023 Pure Aero so much, I didn't even demo the new one. I just reached out to Tennis Warehouse and ordered them. And as always — thank you to Tennis Warehouse. Strung and delivered exactly as promised. You guys always do your job, and the quick turnaround is appreciated. Wow… what can I say? I completely understand the noise about this “not feeling like a traditional Pure Aero.” The aggressive beast that was the 2023 version has definitely been tamed a bit. This is not the same racquet. But what it loses in raw power and stiffness, it gives back in feel and control. I've only had it for two weeks, and I absolutely love it. For my game, it has been the perfect fit. It's still an outstanding spin racquet, and as someone who loves hanging on the baseline and taking big cuts when the opportunity is there, this racquet feels incredibly rewarding. What I gave up in free pop from the 2023, I gained back in feel, precision, and confidence. I'm actually finding myself swinging more freely and trusting my shots more. Sure, I may not have the perfect Uni-Turn, timing, and strength needed to unlock the “holy grail” performance some players get from the 2023 Pure Aero — but I've found my new stick, and I'm really enjoying the benefits of the changes Babolat made with the 2026 version. Hope this helps the next player trying to decide between the two. For me, I'm extremely happy with the switch.

Better than PA98Coming from a 2023 PA98, I have tried the new 2026 PA98, and feels more sluggish than the 2023. The 2026 PA100 however, is not sluggish to my surprise. Performs like the 2023 PA98, with slightly lower launch. Made a small tweak to my stroke to hit from the bottom a bit more and seems to solve the trick. Power level seems slightly lower than 2023 PA98, but in exchange for more forgiveness. The new PA98 requires higher level of skill to take advantage of it. The new PA100 is better for slightly lower level players using the 2023 PA98.

Great Racquet!Racquet feels great! for someone who plays once a week, and sometimes has longer breaks. it is very forgiving and helping get back to the game. Great stability at the net. a lot of spin on my forehand. regarding comfort - it is a stiff racquet - i did not have any issues with it, and it feels great! lively and not muted like the ezone. i did add 3 grams at 3 & 9 to have a bit more plow through and stability when hitting off centre. i am 4.0-4.5 ntrp

Best Aero out of the three models I ownI own the 2023 Aero 98, the 2026 Aero 98 and the 2026 Aero 100. After testing for many hours, I think this is the best Aero for intermediate players who wants to swing hard. I don't get why people say it's low-powered. I guess maybe compare to a Pure Drive or a Ezone, but even then I think the difference is not that dramatic. The easy power is there. I get that the new 98 is definitely less explosive than the old 98, but I do notice that the control on the 26 models are signifcantly better. Between the new 98 and the 100, I think I can achieve the same result with the 100 with less effort. The 100 feels lightning fast to swing. So I picked the new 100 over the new 98. With the new 100, I feel the confidence in my swing, either I want to swing hard or re-direct pace The 23 Aero 98, demands very high swing speed to keep the ball in when you want to hit it hard, and is very punishing off center. I feel like both the 23 and the 26 98s are for advanced players who have high racquet head speed, good footwork to execute the strokes and good consistency to hit on the sweet spot. I can play with either of the 98s and still get decent result, but I know I play my best tennis with the new 100.

Stiff as a boardSo many racquets that feel plush, spin friendly and powerful. This racquet is so stiff. Unless you hit extremely hard and want a 2x4 in your hands, this ain't it. Unless you are 100% on top of the ball the slightest flat contact and your wrist is taking all the punishment.

It’s a good racquet, maybe not worth the hypeFinally got to play test this new Pure Aero. Although I didn’t try the 2023 version, I agree with everyone else in a sense that this racquet does feel muted and low power. I come from using the new Ultra Pro 99 v5 and Ezone 100 currently as well, so I guess I’m use to the power racquets and how those racquets give easy power. This pure aero, you definitely need to put “umph” into your groundstrokes and generate your own power, then again, this is why it’s a spin and not power racquet. I will have the say, top spin and slices both forehand and backhand, this aero is unbelievable and keeps the ball low. 10/10 on slices. Flat hit groundstrokes requires more of your own pace and power. Strung this at 52 lbs with RPM Blast 17. I would still recommend this racquet overall because of its great spin potential and anyone looking for slices and spin as your main weapon, but also, I wouldn’t say it’s worth the hype maybe just because Carlos Alcaraz uses it. Great playtest but for me personally, I like the power racquets more.

Pure aero 2026The best racquet I've ever used (and it's very good). Spin, contact and handle maneuverable. Note, my weight with snare weighed 330 grams. Normal 318 grams. 12.0 weight. Let's weigh it up

DisappointingVery disappointing playtest from my pro shop. Current Pure Aero 23 user and loved the control it had over the other last two pure aeros. However this raquet really lost the Pure Aero heritage. It was extremely muted and felt extremely low powered. I really struggled with being too quick with it on ground strokes and volleys felt anemic compared to prior models. I don’t get all the hype on here for this thing. It’s an ok racquet but definitely not as good as the 23. The feel and forgiveness for me are just completely lacking for this model.
