Best Shoes I ownedI loved these shoes! They had good ankle support and durability. They were exactly what I was looking for. I drag my feet a lot when I play and had been wearing through shoes like crazy. These lasted me the whole season. They did take a bit of break in but once they were worn in they felt really good. I will be getting these again
Sad that this version is so badI’ve worn resolutions for years and initially started with the speeds. When the speeds became so stiff I moved to the resolutions. Worn them for over a decade and each time they “ upgrade “ them they become a little less comfortable. This version is like wearing a pair of stiff wooden shoes. The prior versions were comfortable. This is too high around the ankle so it rubs and the sole is like a wooden plank. I tried with this last version but I will now have to move on to a different brand . Over the last year my other five friends have left and moved to different companies. It’s too bad as they have been the best tennis shoe brand for years.
Good supportWas looking to replace fav Nike GP Zoom and these seem to be closest fit. Sizing is generous so sized 1/2 size down.
Not the same as past versions of this shoeI have worn ASICS for years. Sadly this version was big in the toe box and all plastic. I prefer the earlier version with the mesh toe box. The plastic does not let the foot breathe.
ASICS shoeGood comfortable shoe that don’t breathe. It’s like wearing a wet suit on your feet.
Returning.I have been only wearing Gel Resolution series since 2018. For the first time, I am getting weird pinching pain on top of my foot after wearing this version just once. Its too wide, doesn't feel stable, and my insoles don't fit. They fit perfectly with gel resolution 9. Also too high on ankles, very uncomfortable. Nowadays I can't even find previous versions anywhere. This is so disappointing. :(
Very uncomfortable compared to gen 9I tried both the 7.5 and 8; the 7.5 (my normal size) was so tight my feet started falling asleep in 10 minutes, so I bought the 8. I have broken them in for 20 hours now and they are still so uncomfortable. I have permanent bruising on my inner heels, and on my upper foot near the toes where the thick plastic upper flexes into my foot. I obviously can't return them at this point but I will not be buying asics again until the model changes to be more like what it was before, which is a bummer because I love the durability of the sole.
ASICS gen resolution XDid not like this shoe,they changed how it feels and it is very uncomfortable. Tried it on and could feel the difference. I am returning it and have ordered a Le Coste and a pair of KSwiss shoes. Hopefully one of these shoes will be comfortable and provide the support like the former ASICS gel resolution shoes
Asics Resolution XI've worn Asics Resolution for at least 15 years for tennis and paddle, and this is the first significant change in their look in all the years I've worn them. I think they feel great just like the previous ones but they look better! No break- in needed.
Not as good as other ASICS tennis shoesUnfortunately these shoes’ sole is not comfortable and they get overheated very easily, if you live in a sunny climate. I was very disappointed because I love my previous ASICS tennis shoes, which I keep wearing because of the discomfort of the new ones.
The lateral support of these new ones is good but the comfort for the foot inside is very poor.
