Overview
This Alpha Starting Clamp is designed to anchor the string on the first pull of any string job. It will also enable you to hold tension on a string in order to free-up your machine clamps.
- Eliminates the need for over-tightening the clamp, which can damage the string and lead to premature breakage.
- Keeps the string from slipping through the clamp, which also causes damage and can lead to premature breakage.

Much better than the cheap onesI had originally purchased a cheaper version from Amazon but it would regularly slip when trying to bridge strings, and at tensions around 55 pounds. This Alpha clamp has been so much better in every way, and I've had zero issues with it slipping like the other one. Great product!

Comments: I just bought this recently and it's the best starting clamp I've used. I also have a Gamma starting clamp, and it's good, but the Alpha is better built and worth the extra money. I would recommend spending the extra money and getting this Alpha clamp, it's awesome.

Comments: Probably one of the best starting clamps money can buy. I have been using this for about 3 months now, and it has been a game changer in both the speed and style in which I string. Also it has saved my string on multiple occasions due to its ability to pull tension on strings which are too short. Highly recommend. Probably one of the most high quality starting clamps out there.
