About Yonex: The History

Yonex was founded in 1946 by Minoru Yoneyama who at the time was a producer of wooden floats for fishing nets. Eventually, he was forced out of this business due to modern advancements and he knew he needed to make a change. In 1969, Yonex introduced the first tennis racquet which was the aluminum T-7000. Throughout the years, the company has always believed in contributing to the world through innovative technology and providing the highest quality products.
