It's called the TF40 V1 305 18x20, and it combines the laser-like precision of a dense 18x20 string pattern with outstanding feel. The dense pattern combined with the 98in² head delivers surgical control, giving aggressive players the confidence to swing big and take chances. Notable features include a unique 5-sided RS Sharp Beam, which enhances stability and control, along with a Dynacore XTC layup for added touch, dwell time, and pocketing. Love the TF40 line of rackets!A true hidden gem in the player’s racquet category. After matching my pair to 338g / 32.5cm / 326 SW, the 18x20 has become my primary choice over the 16x19. The tighter pattern offers superior control and a more uniform feel across the face—perfect for eliminating fliers. It’s heavy enough to plow through deep returns and offers incredible feel for slices and volleys. You lose a bit of easy "hook" on short angles, but the gain in stability and precision is a massive net positive.
Switched from 100D to TF40 18x20I really enjoy this racquet so much that I had to buy another one. I bought one on a whim as it was on sale for $99. I've heard great things about tecnifibre, but never got a chance to try them. I switched from Percept 100D to the 18x20. Immediately, I felt at home. I could swing out with all my my power and felt absolute confidence with my shots. When putting bodyweight behind the shots, the shots become powerful and have a penetrating effect on court. The feeling is also wonderful as you feel connected with the ball. The racquet is an extension of my arm. Racquet is string sensitive but I find it plays well with a shaped poly (Cyclone). Overall, I'd highly recommend this racquet to intermediate-advanced level players that have good footwork, spacing, and a fast swing speed.
TF40 305 18x20I really enjoy this racquet. It has a great feel, very comfortable, but not overly muted. I bought 2, and although the static weight is fairly close (about 6 grams… but with different strings, so that could be contributing), one of them feels significantly heavier to swing (don’t have a way to measure swing weight). It took a little adjusting, but I have come to really like the heavier swinging racquet, so it has become my primary racquet (if I were to break a string, I think it would be easier to go to a “lighter” racquet than a “heavier” one… so the lighter one is my backup).
Not Playable in StockDemoed this racquet for a few hours; it is not playable for me in stock. At least if you are used to classic headlight racquets. Lots of weight needs to be added to the grip. It is 3 points headlight, I'm used to 7-9 points headlight racquets, 18x20. It's head-heavy, and ball flies far. Maybe also the tension on demo was too low. I think even a leather grip will not be enough. The feel is not bad.

Nice price, nice racquetI used the Shift 99 with a bit of modification which plays as a spin‑oriented, modern weapon with added stability, while the TF40 305 remains a precision‑first racquet with a classic, plush response. This TF 40 rewards disciplined, flatter hitting and all‑court control.

TF40 305 18X20I purchased this racquet after debating between it and the 16x19 model. A case can be made for either, it's simply a matter of personal choice/style of play. I may still pick up the 16x19 while they are still available at the current price. The racquet is really a great all around stick imo. I did change to a leather grip for a bit more headlight balance and it has easily become my favorite racquet. The pricing on it was a nice bonus.
