Volkl Organix 1 Racquets Technologies
|Volkl Catapult Technology|
1. Pre-Load - Activating the Catapult: The Catapult is a spring freely mounted onto the frame and is pre-loaded during the stringing process.
2. Control Phase - Receive Time: As the ball hits the string bed, the Catapult spring compresses and energizes or "loads" the catapult, thus creating a deeper string bed pocket. The increase in receive time (the Control Phase) results in 30% more control and a larger sweetspot.
3. Power Phase - Release Time: The explosive resetting of the Catapult shortens the release time (the Power Phase) by 30%, delivering more power. Power is further enhanced because the ball compresses less and retains more of its own energy.
The dynamic properties of the POWER ARM produce maximum power for every tennis player. Being structurally decoupled from the racquet head, the POWER ARM is pulled backwards upon ball impact. The tennis ball plunges deeper into the stringbed. Right at the moment the ball changes direction, the recoil sets in: The POWER ARM recoils dynamically and leads to extreme acceleration on the ball.
High tech carbon nano tubes combined with cellulose as the base material. Organix material will be loaded up with kinetic energy during ball impact and releases it back again immediately.
|Volkl Bio Sensor and Pin System|
Bio Sensor is an active vibration dampening system which provides the player unmatched feel and a 15% increase in dampening. (When compared in lab tests vs the Volkl Sensor Tour Handle System.)
BIO SENSOR eliminates vibrations, which have a negative influence on the playability of the racquet.
Starting with the 2014 Organix racquets, Volkl introduces a new Pin System in their Bio Sensor handles. These pins are made of a material called V-Sponse" which has exceptional dampening properties.
There are three different types of pins, each with unique benefits to the target playing audience. The RED PIN is the softest and is great for recreational players looking for maximum comfort. The YELLOW PIN is medium firm and is great for intermediates who want a comfortable but slightly firmer feel. Finally, the BLACK PIN is for advanced players who want maximum feedback.
