Dunlop Biomimetic F4.0 Tour Racquet Technologies

Anatomic Construction

Apex predators are highly evolved for power and precision. Taking inspiration from their anatmoical bone structure, Dunlop has inverted the structural form of the throat in 3 key areas to minimize torsional deflection for increased precision and control on off-center shots. Anatomic Construction = Enhanced control and precision.

Aeroskin CX

This technology is inspired by shark skin. The unique surface application is strategically applied to the racquet frame. The dimpled texture creates localized turbulence and streamlines airflow over the racquet surface for an aerodynamic effect. This reduces drag by up to 36%, an 11% increase from previous Aeroskin Technology, resulting in a faster racquet speed for more power, maneuverability and reaction time.

MoS2 Grommets

Inspired by snake skin, a unique self-lubricating polymer blend that is designed to reduce string friction for 27% greater power and increased abrasion resistance for 40% greater durability. Greater string movement + reduced friction = greater power + greater durability.

CX Grommets

Pocketed grommets around the hoop allow for smooth airflow around the racquet beam cross section. It helps make the 3.0 up to 8% more aerodynamic than the previous model for greater racquet head speed.
BioFibre

Superior natural fibres in the throat and handle have been extracted from the stems of plants. These are designed to increase racquet stability and reduce unwanted shock, producing 18% greater feel and control.
