Babolat Aero 112 Racquets Customer feedback

Comments: I couldn't believe the amount of topspin I created at the baseline. Phenomenal play at baseline and volleying. Lets just put it at this, before I had this racquet I sucked and after I got it made me the jealously of my friends.

Comments: This is an incredible racquet! My game has improved immensely at the net and the baseline. I now do this awesome slice serve and it is incredible. Easily the best racquet I have played with. I HIGHLY recommend. Thank you Babolat.

Comments: Awesome racquet! Great power and control. Plus you can't beat the price. Might buy another one since they don't make this racquet anymore.

Comments: I have played with many racquets and in my opinion Babolat makes the most solid, powerful racquets out there. The Aero 112 has a slightly bigger sweetspot so your volley game will improve instantly. I thought the headsize might compromise my groundstroke game but it just hits so solidly I would never know it was more than 100. Head speed and spin control are great! Don't underestimate the Smartgrip factor...it is wonderful! It instinctively helps me find my proper position on the grip especially when scrambling and also provides a more solid feel on groundstrokes. IMHO, Babolat has the best feel of any racquet at ball contact...and the Aero 112 is a great choice. If you can get it on special, don't hesitate. A comment on strings...I was breaking normal syn gut strings every 2-3 weeks...Luxilon BBanger strings last me 6 months!

Comments: Aero 112 is another masterpiece from Babolat!!! I've been wondering how 4.0-5.0 level players could give such positive reviews for this high-powered racquet. Let's face it. The headsize of Aero 112 is whopping 112 square inch and the beam width is 26/30mm (I verified the measurements). Babolat most likely had beginners and intermediates in mind when they designed this racquet. As a 3.5-4.0 level player, I can't say enough how much I enjoy hitting with this racquet. I have been a happy user of Babolat Drive Z 110 up until now. This is a game improver and definitely renders more control. For the last couple of weeks, my games have improved substantially. My opponents noticed it. I think I will buy another one before they are sold out.

Comments: This racquet is very powerful and very comfortable but it does have adequate control. It feels wonderful with the Gamma Shockbuster II in the throat. I switched from Prince O3 Silver because they kept breaking and I was sick of paying for shipping. This racquet is more powerful but it does not generate as much spin (but I think that is because I changed strings). I will go back to the Prince Poly 3D hybrid and report back.

Comments: Wow! Such a good racquet! I thought it would be a bad racquet because Babolat usually makes more expensive racquets, so when I saw this I thought it was a beginner racquet because of the price. I was totally and completely wrong! This racquet delivers such good power and spin. I couldn't have asked for better from Babolat. Volleys have been easy and powerful and my game has greatly improved, I strongly recommend.

Comments: So far very pleased with the racquet -suits my flat hitting aggressive game. Brought 2 as now discontinued in UK. With the unique grip went down one size.

Comments: Great Racquet!! The best I have used.. Great control and power. Serves are great..Overall contributed to a big improvement in my game. The strings are great. Lot of spin and kick on my forehand too. Great Buy for what I paid!!

Comments: I played college tennis in 81 to 85 and still play seriously USTA 5.0. This is by far the best racquet I have ever played with. Added a lot of power and spin to a very good serve; lots of spin and power to my groundstrokes and the large head helps volley. I think I give up some of my touch on the volleys but adds a lot of pop to them too. Best service return I have ever had. It's amazing because it adds so much power and adds a lot of spin too. Serves are cannonballs with huge movement and bite. The grip gives you so much control. My only issue was I was breaking strings every week because the racquet generates so much spin and speed. I have gone with using a cross blend of 2 string types and can get a lot more time out of the strings. The racquet is the best on the market. any price. beginner or pro.

Comments: I used and liked the Babolat Aero Pro Drive but developed elbow grief. I stumbled on the Aero 112 and liked the looks; tubular throat like the APD. I've put the new Babolat N-VY 16 gauge string in at 62 lbs, stuck 10 grams of lead in the but-end to make it more headlight as the APD and am as happy a tennis player can be. This racquet is void of any vibration; my elbow is getting back to normal. Controlled Cannonballs is what I do now. Am looking for a good used one as a spare.

Comments: This is a terrific racquet (even more so when you consider the remarkably low price). Humongous sweet spot, remarkable combination of power and control, excellent weight and balance. The racquet sneaks in under the radar but is really quite a find.

Comments: I used to use a Wilson Kfive and loved it. Unfortunately, it cracked, and forced me to buy a new racquet. I decided to try out something new, and picked out a Babolat Aero 112. It is by far the best racquet I've ever used. It is VERY powerful, only requiring little effort from the player. Though it has power, it also has very good control. Great for all around players who play both at the baseline and the net looking for a racquet to match their style of play.

Comments: Best racquet I've ever used. Easy to create a lot of spin, awesome sound, nice feel and a big sweetspot. I decided to finally buy a new racquet and tried 7-8 of my friends racquets. This was by far the best one for me, better than Wilson K Six One (Federers) and Pure Drive GT (Roddicks), probably because I'm at the level I'm at, and not a pro. Still, my guess is if you're a level 2.5-4.5 player, this might be the best racquet for you out there.

Comments: I was using a Head Liquidmetal 4 before this one and was getting punished by it. At 102 and with my low skill level it was simply unforgiving on shots that were near the frame. I switched to the Babolat after really enjoying a friends and have not looked back! The power change is phenomenal and I have developed a WICKED slice serve that I couldn't even attempt with the Liquidmetal. I was also surprised that it only took one match to compensate for the huge power increase; control is really good for a 112 racquet and it helps that I strung it at 60. I'm no string expert, but the Babolat pro hurricane 17 feels great and is relatively cheap compared to expensive hybrids etc. Highly recommended.

Comments: Best racquet I've ever used. I used to only play with prince, switched over to the Babolat aero 112, and never looked back. I improved on everything. Serves, volleys, power, spin. GREAT RACQUET!

Comments: I just got this racquet haven't tested it out on the court yet but I noticed that online it showed that it was 289g, whereas on the racquet it said 260g.

Comments: I love this racquet more than my Wilson K Six One Tour (Federer), which is too heavy for my strokes and serves. At a lighter weight and bigger head I got my forehand and backhand in easy swings and with precision. My slices and drops shots are also there and it makes me feel comfortable with it. The sweet spot is amazing, you can really feel it and my serves came into a good play. Probably good for intermediate players to advanced players.

Comments: I tried Wilson Ncode, Babolat NS Drive OS, Dunlop Aerogel 500 in the past 1 year and figured out that NS Drive OS was the best of all, that is until I found Babolat Aero 112. This racquet has similar feature to NS Drive OS, but much more powerful, easier to create spin. Only one complaint I have is grip size which is far too big. My usual size is 1 (4 1/8) but with this racquet, I hope Babolat manufactures grip size 0/8 (size 0).

Comments: This is a great racquet. It has great power and very surprising control. It has helped a lot with my ground strokes and a lot with my serve. It has a very comfortable feel in your hand and on contact. It is definitely a racquet that will improve your game and it is worth the money!

Comments: I have been playing for over 4 years and I am on my high school tennis team. I got my Babolat Aero 112 when I sent in my first Babolat under warranty to France because it cracked. It was the same head size as the Aero 112 and also had the smart grip. But, when I got my new Aero 112 it still felt like a brand new wonderful racquet and my game has already improved. I love it!

Comments: This racquet has everything for the all court player. Extra pop on the serve, more power on groudstrokes, and an extra large sweetspot for those hard to make volleys. It has given me the confidence to hit better shots and play much more aggressively. Thanks BABOLAT!!

Comments: The Aero 112 is a wonderful racquet. It has a lot of power and good control. It definitely improved my game, especially my serve. At first, I was worried about the smart grip but it turned out fine. I think this is the racquet to improve my game with. Good job, Babolat!

Comments: This is what I was looking for. As I got older my racquet head speed dropped but with this racquet who needs it! Great power, easy on the elbow. I cannot say enough of good things about this racquet. My string tension with Signum is 50lbs which by the way is one the best string I have ever used.

Comments: I have been playing Tennis for two years now; using this racquet the last 10 months, and it feels natural to me with the grip, lightweight, and over sized head. I have to say that the Pro Hurricane Tour strings made quite a difference on my game. Just got a second one for back-up and about to restring the old one with Pro Hurricane Tour strings.

Comments: I am a beginner with 8 months playing and private lessons. When it was time to get a better racquet, I demo'd at least 10 before I put the Babolat Aero 112 in my hand. My game has improved tenfold in all areas, including serves and volleys. I have an amazing amount of control and power where I previously felt frustrated. I highly encourage 2.5-3.0 new players to try this racquet and be amazed at how much you improve you game.
