Comments: This is a comfortable shoe. However, it is not very durable. I got holes in the toes. I would also use caution as twisting ankles was a real concern.
Comments: I have bought 2 pairs of these shoes. They are very light weight and comfortable but both shoes rip on
the front outside, causing a hole to develop. If this defect could be corrected I would buy more.
Comments: There was no break-in required. It is very comfortable from the first wear and light. The only caution is
because there's so much fabric for ventilation, it's not good for the winter.
Comments: I have traditionally played in Nike shoes but was looking for a shoe that had more cushion. This shoe
has delivered in a big way. This is by far the best sole I have played in. Excellent cushioning, grip, comfort, and durability. I do
however find myself wanting more support. In my opinion this shoe would be a great doubles shoe but for singles.
Comments: I purchased the shoe for the summer outdoor clay courts. I was looking for a comfortable and
breathable shoe. After 15-20 hours of play, here are my comments. Pros: Extremely comfortable and breathable with good
cushioning and no break-in required. Excellent traction on clay, though have not tried it on hard courts. Cons: Limited of stability
due to use of mesh. Not an issue on clay courts but a show stopper for hard courts (and very aggressive singles). Some concern
over toe guard durability which may impact life of shoe. In conclusion, an excellent shoe for clay courts. Stability is it's real
achilles heel!
Comments: While the shoe is comfortable, I too have had issues with my foot sliding when moving side to side, and
running out of them while moving forward on several occasions. Turning an ankle is a concern. IMO the mesh that the shoe is
made of, while comfortable and light, does not provide the support needed for quick stops and starts.
Comments: Got these shoes with my sole warranty from Asics Resolution 2. I really love the Asics shoe and would
have been happy to wear them forever, but, when they were discontinued, I had to look elsewhere. The Resolution 3 is too heavy
for me and seems like they are trying to work too hard to make up for the lack of durability in the Resolution 2. These shoes fit
like a glove right out of the box. There is a soft almost cozy feeling to them. A few steps showed there was plenty of cushioning
and I figured this was a shoe worth giving a try on the court. Played a tough 3 setter in these without much break in. No blisters or
rubs but I found that my feet were a little sore after the match. I chalk this up to the very firm arch support provided by an
unyielding plastic piece on outside of the shoe. That said, people with low arches may want to look elsewhere. The comfort held
for the whole match and they were light but supportive on lateral and vertical movements. I love the colors, but the styling is a bit
blah when you look at the shoe up close. Not sure about durability yet, but one problem spot I could see is the fake leather at the
end of the toe. It has already folded a bit and I could see how holes between the seams might form. No blowouts yet, but I will
keep an eye on that facet. I will always favor my Asics, but these shoes are light, fairly stable and comfortable during a match.
Comments: Brilliant shoe. I've been through them all: Nikes, Adidas, Prince T22s, New Balance. For my stubborn
feet, which are wide and have a high arch, these things fit like a glove. They seem to wrap around my foot but not in an
uncomfortable way because the mesh all around gives a little, but not so much that you don't feel very secure. Cushioning is great
but still a very low-to-the-ground feel. And they're light so you feel super quick chasing down each shot. The heel also isn't as
high as the Tour Visions, so I never fear rolling my ankle any more than with any other shoe. Been wearing these for 1 1/2 months
now, playing four times a week, and they've held up wonderfully. I also used to have frequent blister issues and even developed
plantar fascitis for a month, and I've had nothing but bliss with these Black Wilsons. My long, frustrating search is finally over and
these things deserve more love. Don't hesitate to give these a try. Your feet will thank you.
