Wilson Shock Shield Hybrid Grip Customer feedback
Comments: Bought three sets of these going by the review. First off, Wilson provided swatches of the two elements
that make-up this grip. They are very thick and cushioning. After opening the package, I noticed that they are not as thick. The
grip is very thin layer of both elements. Was it cushioned? Yes, but no better than wilson's air cushion for a fraction of the cost.
The air cushion sponge felt softer and as easy on my arm. This provided no better softness but has a firm synthetic feel. Save
your money.
Comments: I like this grip. I can't find it at my local tennis store, so I always order it online. I suffer from TE, so
this grip has been helping me greatly. I use it on my Wilson BLX racquets.
Comments: I love this grip! I put it on my Babolat Pure Drive and it made the racquet instantly arm-friendly.
Comments: This is an amazing grip! I put this on my Dunlop 4D 400 Tour and it makes the racquet feel arm-
friendly instantly.
Comments: I replaced my Power Bridge10 mid stock grips to these. Excellent grips. Not mushy like most gel grips.
Comments: This grip is comfortable and has very good feel. It has a heavier weight like a leather grip due to the
gel.
Comments: The Wilson comfort hybrid is the best for comfort and tack. This one makes the bevels very
pronounced.
Comments: I bought this randomly today and wow, what great feel. For my sticks that I use a replacement grip with
no overgrip on, this is my new favorite by far. It's expensive but worth it.
Comments: I've tried a few different "comfort" grips and they all felt mushy with a loss of feel and control. Not this
grip! I've now used it on a Dunlop AG 4D 100 and Biomimetic 200 Lite and it's perfect! As comfortable as my Volkls with their
special Sensor grip with no loss of control or feel. Excellent traction too. It's a heavy grip so do expect a little more heft than
other replacement grips.
