Customer feedback

Comments: I have been wearing Wilson shoes for 20+ years. They seem to fit my foot the best. Enjoy this clay court shoe. Very comfortable. Main complaint is the lack of ventilation. Foot gets soaked during warm weather, at least relative to other Wilsons that I have worn.

Comments: These are relatively comfortable. My previous shoes were Ballistec 1.1 and Barricade. I've also owned Nike trainers. The form of the last feels flat and consistent. The effect of the plastic portions does what I didn't really get out of Ballistec 1.1. So far it has been a mild irritation to have this part on my foot (it's either that or a seam). But it is the functional part of this shoe that sets it apart. Kind of "unnatural". It's like the opposite of Barricade. The heel at the tendon is high. The whole cuff is slightly high even with orthotic inserts (typical). Altogether they are a bit platform-ish, but I am wearing an 8. There is gel in the heel. I see this as being an offering to the rolling heel backhand. It is generous but the rubber is not firmly secured at/under that gray circle. It make a little suction cup noise. And this is what it does -- sucks down at the placement for a notably comfortable roll. I worry that this will be the lifespan-limiting feature.

Comments: I wore my last pair of Ascis Gel Challenger way too long, but oh how I was used to them. They had grown to the shape of my feet. And it all depends on your foot, which shoe fits. I tried the Barricade V: at first seemed to have the perfect fit, the Barricades felt stable and strong, but when playing it was too wide, my heels slipped too much. I tried the Courtballistec 2.3: great feel, ballistecs felt comfy and advanced, but their size just didnt suit my feet(sluggy). Nike Zoom Breathe 2k10: the Zoom Breathe felt superbly comfy and speedy, but too smallish in the toe area, it was annoying. Wilson Trance: amazingly, it's like they where tailormade for my feet. These Wilson Trance just feel like good old tennis shoes with no problems with toes, slipping or width.
