Comments: I have been wearing the Wilson ProStaff for over 30 years. The last time I ordered I went 1/2 size larger (this shoe seemed to be getting smaller over the years), and it fit perfectly. I really hope Wilson does not discontinue this shoe.
Comments: Has anyone else noticed that Wilson no longer uses all leather in their tennis shoes? 'Man made' leather is just not the same and does not stretch. Much less expensive to make, not comfortable, but yet still charging the same price as leather. Most likely not made in USA.
Comments: I have been wearing the Wilson ProStaff Low Leather shoes size 8 1/2 for over 23 years. The last pair I bought feels much shorter than the others and is killing my little toes. I have been trying to break them in without much success. This used to be the most comfortable shoe to play in. Someone really should forward complaints to the Wilson representative, as I hate to have to switch brands but will if necessary.
Comments: I have worn the Pro Staff for over 20 years and found them very comfortable. However, the last pair I ordered pinch my little toe so badly that I have to wear a cushion ring (made for corns) on my toe. Time and wearing has not improved this problem. What has happened to this shoe?
Comments: I have worn this shoe for over 8 years. The last 2 pairs gave my little toe a corn or a blister. The last pair caused my little toe to become so inflamed and sore I couldn't wear a tennis shoe of any kind for over 2 months. The company should give all of us with this problem their money back!!!!
Comments: I have tried several other brands through the years but always come back to Wilson's, but like the other comments just 3 months ago I purchased a pair and they have fallen apart and made blisters on my pinky, I play 4-5 time a week...what has happened? Wilson's used to be Great for me.
Comments: These shoes really pinched my toes on the sides. I got blisters on my pinky toes the first time I wore them. I got rid of these shoes, which sucks cause they're really cute.
Comments: I also have been wearing this shoe for years, and also have found the last order of 2 pair both short in the toe area. I always order these shoes 1 size larger than my normal shoe size as I wear Thorlos and they are very thick socks. My last 2 pair were both so short that I lost a toenail before I went to thinner socks to wear out the shoes. I don't know if I should reorder even larger shoes, or go to a store and try for a new model. Unfortunately, I need to do that right now, which is why I am even on this site.
Comments: I started wearing the Pro Staff several years ago. I play 2 to 4 times a week. I MUST have a shoe with a low back, and the Pro Staff fits the bill perfectly. I buy a half size larger than my regular shoe size since I can then wear a thick athletic sock with them.
Comments: I ordered these shoes and found them small and not wide enough
to accommodate a tennis sock comfortably. I am a casual player but have always liked
Wilson shoes. The last two pair have not been as well made as previous Wilson court
shoes I have had.
Comments: I too have worn both leather and mesh style Wilson ProStaff tennis
shoes for many years. This past summer I found a great sale on the leather shoes, so
bought 3 pair when away from home. I didn't use them for several months. When I did, I too
found that they were very small. I've been using 1 pair for the past 6 weeks and although
they have stretched some they are still very uncomfortable. I've just ordered a different shoe
to try. Some deal!
Comments: I have been wearing the Women's Wilson ProStaff all leather shoes
for about 15 years. I play tennis 3 to 4 times a week. I hope that Wilson will continue making
these shoes. My feet feel great. The price is very reasonable too.
Comments:I've been playing club tennis for the last 17 years. Play on 4.0 and
4.5 USTA teams, doubles baseline and net. I've been wearing the Women's Wilson ProStaff
Low Leather Shoes for at least the last 3 years. The last pair I had was the worst I'd ever
had. It took over 6 weeks before the shoe was comfortable. The shoes seemed smaller than
all the previous pairs I'd bought, even though the inside marking stated it was the same size.
I'd bought a pair of mesh Prostaff's, for summer wear, about 6 months prior to the purchase
I'm talking about and the mesh fit fine. One of my friends told me she had experienced the
same problem with one of the Wilson line shoes, at about the same time. I've purchased
two other brands, Head and K-Swiss, and don't like either of them. I'm going back to the
Wilson brand.
Comments:The Women's Wilson ProStaff Low Leather Shoes are beautiful. My
feet feel great, are in good shape and in full comfort! I play daily here in Colombia.
