Comments: I got this racquet less than a week ago and I have already experienced a giant improvement in my game. I switched to this racquet from a 110 square inch head size. I tried a lot of other racquets, and this racquet worked the best for me. If you are somebody who plays with a lot of topspin, then you have to demo this racquet.
Comments: I got this racquet when I was demoing different ones and stumbled upon this one. It had nice looks and it's specs seemed to be alright so I tagged it along with other racquets and boy did it preform. I tried the Babolat AeroPro Drive GT, the Head Youtek Radical Pro and this racquet. First, the serve is fantastic with spin if you hit it right. It is very good from the baseline and amazing at net as the feel and touch was incredible. The best part was the price and produced the about the same if not a little better results than the Babolat AeroPro Drive. This is a must have!
Comments: I am really liking this racket. The frame material is extremely solid, providing an exceptional amount of feel. It is quite forgiving, which makes it an accessible option for middle-of-the-road players such as myself. The only issue I'm having with it is that it has a lot of power -- in my experience, ground strokes with pace have to be hit very low and with plenty of topspin, or they go sailing out. It also demands a well-hit serve, if you're attempting to drop a bomb. I don't see these as negatives though, it just does a really good job at reminding me how I should be hitting. Great game improvement tool.
Comments: This racquet is very good. It is incredibly maneuverable
even though it has an even balance when strung. I am more of a flat hitter, and have never had much of a topspin forehand, but this racquet paired with Wilson's NXT Control strings (which are an internal polyester/nylon hybrid) have allowed me to get the topspin I need to make the ball drop down without going out. As with all the BLX racquets I've played, it has GREAT feel, but it does vary with stringbeds. Groundstrokes are easy to hit deep with spin and are forgiving enough, Volleys have a good crisp feel while offering the right touch and control that makes it feel good to hit the ball. If you hit a good ball with this racquet it will tell you and it will feel good, although slightly dampened compared to the more head light BLX
models, but if you have arm/elbow problems it could help. Serves are beautiful as long as you can get your wrist around quickly enough or the ball goes long. There is no perfect racquet, because everyone is different, but this one works spectacularly for me, and it could for you. If this racquet really doesn't work for you, try the BLX Tidal Wave, it is similarly priced with a completely different feel and it seems to be a sort opposite to this racquet.
