Comments: I have been playing with these tennis shoes for over 2 years now and have tried around 6-7 different tennis shoes from other brands, but I keep coming back to these. They are by far my favorite. Sure they are a bit heavy, but they don't slow me down on court at all. At this point I don't even feel the weight. They feel like they are just part of your feet. The only two other pair of tennis shoes that were as comfortable as these are the Adidas Barricades and the Nike Air Max Breathe Cages. They still can't compete with the type of cushioning that these provide. I keep buying different colors of these pumps. Oh and these shoes look awesome. Very stylish and they look fine. I noticed a lot of people complain about how bulky they look when they put them on but maybe that's because they have chicken legs or something.
From: AK, New York City, USA. 04/09

Comments: I was very disappointed in these shoes. Even at the sale price considering the uncomfortable fit and the tendency for the laces not to stay tight, they are not worth the price. I found my toes to feel cramped and the shoe during match play seems to loosen up so that several times you must stop to retighten the laces. I have a small frame and small foot so not sure if this is what causes the problem, although I have never had a similar problem with any other shoe I have used in the past. I think the pump is more of a gimmick and does not add anything to the shoe. The previous K Swiss I used before this were much more comfortable. I noticed many positive reviews on the shoe here but also notice TW has been trying to clear them out for sometime now so wonder if so many people love them, why they are still available.
From: Barry, New Hampshire. 3/09

Comments: The shoes were great, comfortable, tight. The pumps really helped hold the feet, heavy? No, unless you have extremely weak thighs the weight should not be a problem I give these shoes a 9/10.
From: Jon, AV, MN, USA, 10/08

Comments: Be careful in these shoes! I found them much more prone to rolling over, and I actually injured my ankle quite severely while wearing these shoes! I am a 4.5 player, and I have worn a variety of shoes - including Adidas Barricade, and Prince.
From: Hutch, Midlothian, VA, USA. 9/08

Comments: Incredibly bulky and ridiculously over-padded on the sides. They'll just look ridiculous on you unless you're a very big guy with big calves. Otherwise your calves will look like twigs in these things. They're actually really nice looking shoes, but only if you're wearing baggy pants. They're fairly low to the ground and I found that the first few weeks of walking with these killed my feet. Once broken in they are very comfortable. Actually because of the size and bulkiness, they make you look like a small guy who is wearing big shoes to enhance his height, even though these are by no means thick soled shoes. So yeah, definitely not worth it, unless you're looking for a terrible shoe that makes you look like a clown.
From: Bob, San Francisco, CA. 7/08

Comments: I absolutely hate these shoes. They are so bulky and heavy, which allows limited mobility on the court! I bought them mainly for the price, and they look very cool on the Web site, but they definitely aren't. Once you get them they look so fat.
From: Ryan, Clinton, Iowa. 6/08

Comments: I agree with some comments from many users. It is true that this shoes are solid and holding feet well. But, I prefer lighter shoes that make running lot easier on court. The other down side of this shoes is that it makes feet hot and look so bulky. Will not buy another pair.
From: Jack. 6/08

Comments: They felt very big and bulky and uncomfortable when brand new. However, once worn-in, they were perfect. They also look great. They last a very long time and I'm mulling over whether to buy a new pair and go through the agony of trying to break it in, or continue using this 10-month-old pair, which is tearing inside, but still looks and feels great. Think I'll stick with the old pair for now!
From: Andrew, San Jose, CA. 6/08

Comments: After reading feedbacks, most of which were positive when I read them, I purchased a pair. It's pretty much like what the other users said about all the specs. But I have to say that I spend most of my court time wearing the other pairs of Nike shoes instead of this one, which will explain everything for me. The weight and bulky feel mean it stays in a corner of my house for months. Even though it is solid and holds the feet tight, it just does not make footwork flexible and causes so much sweating and smelling afterwards.
From: Michael, Queens, New York, US. 6/08

Comments: Pretty dang heavy compared to most others. It wasn't really a problem for me, and they're ridiculously comfortable. But you should only get them if you want people to think you're playing tennis in basketball shoes. But other than looks, they're a pretty good shoe.
From: Clayton, Malibu, CA, USA. 6/08

Comments: This is the worst shoe I've had for the past ten years. It is too bulky and clumsy. It caused several of my toenails to fail.
From: John, Los Alamos, New Mexico, USA. 5/08

Comments: Not heavy whatsoever. I used them for all the season. (bought 2 pairs) The weight is hardly a problem.
From: Mike, Corpus Christi, TX, USA. 5/08

Comments: Oh boy, these shoes definitely have a lot of controversy going on about the weight. I'll put it all straight right now. Yes, these shoes are heavier than the tennis shoes that you're probably used to, but with all that weight comes a ton of padding and support. I have size 10s. They really are quite bulky and heavy, but I'd say if you have remotely strong legs, then it shouldn't be a problem for you. The padding on these shoes is just crazy. The tongue is huge (it actually looks smaller in the picture than it really is), and the Pump is pretty much useless unless you want to pump it 50 times. the strap however, is a very nice feature. I warm up with it unstrapped, then right before i start a match I'll strap up. it really gives you a secure feeling, like the shoes are really attached to your feet.
From: Zach, Crystal Lake, IL, USA. 4/08

Comments: Not too bad of a show. They fit a little big in the toe box area, but wearing two socks solves that problem. Mesh is placed in bad places. After one practice I have already torn up the side from sliding on hard courts. My coach gave me these, and they are all black. One of the ugliest pair of shoes I have ever worn, but also one of my the most comfortable.
From: Tyler, Chattanooga, TN, U.S.A. 3/08

Comments: This shoe was awesome. I used them during my entire tennis season from December to May, and they only started to wear after that time. I must say these shoes are very comfortable. I have worn predominantly Barricades and now a3 Accelerators, and this shoe still reigns supreme. On the other hand, these shoes tend to be heavy but are not irritating.
From: Tom, CA, USA. 2/08

Comments: These shoes were pretty average. They're good for training, but in matches will slow you down and heat up. A good buy, but I probably won't get these again. I give these shoes a 6 out of 10.
From: Krishan, Christchurch, New Zealand. 1/08

Comments: Great shoe, excellent comfort and fits true to size and nowhere near as heavy as you'd think.
From: Ben, Christchurch, NZ. 12/07

Comments: These shoes are way too heavy. I don't recommend buying them. I don't like these shoes.
From: Jonathan, Grand Rapids, MI, USA. 11/07

Comments: After reading the initial comments, I knew I couldn't miss! Wrong! I do not like these shoes. For one, they are too heavy. Two, I like to tie my shoes tightly and because the leather is a little tough, I cannot do that. I have to pull the velcro strap over to get that tight feeling. Also, just about every time I wear them, I get close to rolling my ankle.
From: Anthony, Grayson, GA, USA. 11/07

Comments: I love these shoes. They are durable, stylish, offer excellent support and comfort and are suited to relaxed coaching and high competition play due to the adjustable fittings the strap and pump mechanism offer. The only problem is I can't buy these anywhere in the UK, so thanks very much Tennis Warehouse! I will soon order my next three pairs.
From: Andy, Bristol, England, UK. 10/07

Comments: Great shoes. Yes, they seem bulky at first. But on the court, they play lighter and keep your ankles locked. The pump is worthless, but the overall integrity and durability of the shoe is very strong.
From: Martin, Phoenix, AZ, USA. 4/07

Comments: Just got of the phone with T.W. This will be my fourth pair. Best shoe on the market. No shoe can compare in comfort, stability, style. Order them and you will thank me. I could retire wearing these shoes.
From: Darrell, Toronto, Canada. 3/07

Comments: The best thing(s) about these shoes are their comfort, and stability. In the past I've run into tennis shoes that don't accomodate players with wide feet very well, but this shoe seems to have been made with such players in mind. Of course, some people have a problem with the weight of the shoe as they are somewhat heftier than other tennis shoes on the market currently. Honestly, the weight doesn't make getting to a well executed drop shot any easier, but I would still say these shoes are entirely worth it for players who enjoy noticeable support, extra stability and comfort on the court (especially after long periods of play). By the way, if you are used to playing in lighter tennis shoes, ease yourself into wearing these. At first, I found making the switch from my feather-light tennis shoes to my Matchdays quite difficult... but after a few practices I'm willing to sacrifice a lighter shoe for one as comfortable, and stable as this. Overall, this shoe is solid choice for intermediate to advanced players looking for some extra support.
From: Lachlan, Grand Rapids, Michigan, USA. 2/07

Comments: Possibly the most comfortable pair of shoes that I’ve ever worn. The support given by the Pump is ridiculous and the break in period is minimal at most. The tread is very effective on hard courts, indoors and out. The weight of the shoe is soon hard to notice when they are worn regularly. However, they should be ordered a half size larger due to all of the padding. I might have to get another pair to wear for leisure.
From: DJ, Kirkwood, NY, USA, 01/07

Comments: Extremely comfortable shoes. the pump technology, along with the strap, allow for a very stable fit with little to no sliding around inside the shoe or rolling of ankles. the shoes are, however, extremely heavy, at over 1lb. EACH, but the weight is overcome by the extreme comfort. The shoe is very traction oriented, so wear is easier to see than more durability oriented shoes, but the tread is extremely thick. Almost half a centimeter thick. No one can wear through these. Overall, a great practice shoe.
From: Chris, GA, USA, 01/07

Comments: I bought a pair of these shoes and was discouraged by the weight at first. After playing a day or two I was already used to the weight. Great support, traction, and stability with the foot strap. Be sure to tie the shoes tightly and get a 1/2 size bigger because of all the padding inside. Good shoe.
From: Anon, 11/06

Comments: I found the shoes to be extremely supportive. Much has been made of the weight of the shoes. However, if any of you have worn basketball shoes, these shoes will not feel that heavy. The cushioning is superb. Every time I put these shoes on...it's almost as if I'm putting them on a pillow, they feel that good.
From: Victor, NC, USA. 11/06

Comments: These shoes are a lot better off for durability than the old Reebok canvas court shoes I used just before I got these. They may run a little wide so you might want to order a half size down from your usual tennis shoe size if you don’t want to bother pumping. It takes about 20-40 pumps for any difference to be felt, and if you need to, I suggest you pump them before you put the shoes on for you matches. Something I found good to do with them is leave them un-strapped when you warm up before you match, and when you start, strap them up. It gives you a noticeably good secure feel for the court and ads some confidence in your step. If shoe weight is a factor for you, I recommend that if you choose to get these shoes to do something to get you prepared for the weight difference from the shoes you wore prior to them, since most tennis shoes don’t match up with the heavier weight these have. Probably lifting weights with emphasis on your lower body, or wearing a pair of heavier shoes during your regular day. Overall their best quality is their comfort and cushioning. No break in is needed, just like the review states.
From: Darrick, Kingsville, TX, USA. 10/06

Comments: I've been a Reebok fan for 20 years, and in that time I have occasionally encountered shoes that did not fit "true to length". Unfortunately, this is another one. The double whammy for me is that I normally wear a 15, and in this shoe I would need a 16. It seems that there is some extra cushioning in the toe and heel, which reduces the size almost a full size. It's unfortunate as the shoe is very attractive, and seemed to give great support. I guess I'll be sending this pair back.
From: Bruce, Chicago, IL, USA. 10/06

Comments: I recommend this shoe very strongly, particularly at the price. The cushioning is very good, and the cushioning seems to last over time. Many other shoes start out with good cushioning, and quickly become very flat. Not this shoe. I agree, though, that the pump and the strap are a bit of a nuisance and that they add little.
From: Russ, Leonardtown, MD, USA. 10/06

Comments: These shoes are superb. I did not roll my ankle once in them. Great support and cushioning. The only downside is that it gave each of my big toes blisters. Even with Thorlos level 3 socks, I still got a blister on each of my big toes. I even tried Thorlos socks PLUS athletic tape around my toes. No go. I stopped wearing these shoes because of this. This is the only issue keeping me from recommending these shoes to other people.
From: Juan, FL, USA. 10/06

Comments: Very comfortable shoe, with good durability. The shoe is, however, very heavy; I would not recommend it to those who like a nice light shoe. It does help you keep your front foot down on serving, if that's an issue. Overall has good wear and tear and extreme comfort.
From: Chris, Santa Maria, CA, USA. 10/06

Comments: I would not recommend these shoes at all. I have tried many pairs in my lifetime, and these were the most dangerous. Not only were they too heavy, the lateral support just wasn't right for me. I rolled my ankle every time I wore them (three times in a row). I switched to another pair after only 3 uses and now everything is back to normal.
From: Bill, NY, USA. 9/06

Comments: Great shoe that offers tons of support and tons of cushioning. For such a bulky shoe, they really didn't feel heavy on the court. Lets face it, for 90% of us the limiting factor in our footwork is not our shoes, but our feet :) I really found this pair of sneakers to fit what I was looking for perfectly. At TW's low price, there is no reason not to give them a shot. For the more fashion conscious among us, these are also a real head-turner.
From: Adam, TX, USA. 9/06

Comments: The Reebok pumps are amazing. The level of traction and stability these shoes give is awesome. However, I initially found them to be a bit on the heavy side. The pump system accompanied by the 360 strap gives you a high level of comfort not really matched by a lot of other tennis shoes.
From: Andy, New York, NY, USA. 9/06

Comments: I bought these shoes after reading some of the positive reviews (comfortable, stable, snug, etc). The price couldn't be beat either. I used to own the old school Michael Chang Reebok Pumps way back in the day, so I was definitely looking forward to them. I do not like these shoes. I wore them twice (90 minutes each) and I won't wear them again. They're too bulky and heavy. Way too heavy for my tastes. Playing a couple sets in 95-degree weather is not the time I want to weight-lift with my legs. These shoes actually hurt! Without the strap tightened, they felt too loose. I did pump them 50-60-70 times. But with the strap tightened, I was walking around with blisters the next day. Again, these shoes are heavy, about 5-7 ounces per shoe makes a difference.
From: Warren, San Francisco, CA, USA 09/06

Comments: I’ve been playing tennis for about 12yrs and these are the most stable, comfortable shoes I’ve worn since the Nike Air Durations. They feel a bit heavy, but so what? I'll be doing weight training. I pretty much agree with all the positive feedback that has been previously mentioned EXCEPT for the comments on the Pump System. It is best to PUMP your shoes before you lace up and apply the supportive Velcro strap. Personally I found a major difference with the Pumps, but you have to PUMP IT A LOT. Depending on your feet, anywhere from 50-120 times on each shoe. I've only had my shoes for about a week, and I find when I PUMP them, they are much more conforming to my feet, more comfortable, and you get less of that slip out feeling with newer, slightly stiff shoes.
From: Marcus, Sydney, Australia 08/06

Comments: These shoes are extremely comfortable, but be careful: adjusting the arch-support strap really changes things! I tightened the strap for a few sets just wondering if it would make a difference, and I could hardly walk. The shoe is bulky, yes, but that's a good thing, especially if you're a big guy (I'm 6'3", 240). You'll never have to worry about rolling an ankle in these. I make hard-running pivots now that would have put me on crutches in other shoes. The pump is just a gimmick - my 5 year old likes to play with it, that's about it. The only unfortunate thing is that the leather uppers have hardly shown any wear, while I've almost completely blown through the soles. It's a shame I have to replace them, but they lasted a long time - almost a year of three to four matches per week.
From: Mark, LA, CA, USA 08/06

Comments: These shoes are cut a trifle small, so be prepared to buy a size bigger than your normal fit. They are also a little heavy out of the box, but you shouldn't feel the weight once you start moving on court. The main upside regarding these shoes is that they are reasonably priced. They are also durable, and are relatively dirt resistant. I highly recommend them. I bought a couple pairs and I'm planning to buy a couple more pairs.
From: Michael, Brooklyn, NY, USA 08/06

Comments: After reading the reviews on these shoes I decided to give them a go, the fact that they are fairly cheap at the moment aided this decision. The one thing I was a bit worried about was the weight of the shoe after reading the comments posted here. Well, I was pleasantly surprised; the shoes aren't that heavy at all, although granted, they do look massive. If they are too heavy for you, maybe it's time to head for the gym and work on those leg muscles. I reckon the pumps are just a marketing gimmick, they hardly make a difference, so are not used. The shoes are comfortable and provide excellent stability and cushioning. I haven't had them long enough to comment on the durability. All in all these were a great purchase!!
From: Andrew, London, UK 08/06

Comments: These are very comfy and weight is not the problem for me with these shoes. Of course they are going to be heavy with the amount of cushioning inside them, but you don’t even notice it when you play. I am a baseliner and found these shoes very stable and durability seems to be good. The toe straps and the pump are nice for keeping your foot in place, even though you do rarely use the pump. The only problem I got with these shoes is the ventilation. Just an hour or so of play and my feet get start to get hot. So if your feet tend to sweat a lot, these are not the shoes for you. Other than the poor ventilation, these shoes are great to play with.
From: JC, Hayward, CA, USA 07/06

Comments: Price is all that matters. Even though I am a big fan of Nike shoes nothing beats the value of these shoes. They perform very well for the price. Very comfortable. They are big, heavy and very durable. Don't be expecting to wear these shoes out in 6 months unless you play every day. For those who have flat feet consider these shoes. The arch support breaks in after a while and the shoes will fit your feet. The Velcro straps are very painful to those with flat feet. Also I found these shoes to be very hard to tie comfortably. During a match I would have to re-tie them a few times to get my feet in a comfortable position since there is so much cushioning in them. Another downside to the cushioning is that these shoes get hot and have poor ventilation. But it is all worth it to me since I play a lot of outdoor tennis and get my shoes very dirty.
From: KN, WA, USA 07/06

Comments: A relatively comfortable shoe, however no one is lying when they say this shoe is very heavy and BULKY. You don’t get that "low to the ground" feeling as you get with most tennis shoes. The shoes perform fine but I still would not recommend them to someone who demands a high performance shoe.
From: CV, Grand Rapids, MI, USA 07/06

Comments: These shoes are great. The 360 strap keeps my foot in place so my foot doesn't slide. The durability and comfort in this shoe is amazing. You don't even notice that your wearing shoes when your play. It's like you’re wearing clouds.
From: Anon 07/06

Comments: Very heavy shoes. Durability isn’t the greatest. But when you feel like your feet are in the clouds you will forget all about the weight. I’m currently killing the barricade IV’s, I play with two handed strokes on both sides and depend on my speed to make up for lack of reach.
From: Darrell P., Toronto Ont. 07/06

Comments: I am a varsity player on my high school tennis team and play 2.5 hours a day. When I first got these shoes I wasn't impressed with the weight or bulk of the shoes. After playing with them for about a week I realized that they didn't seem to weigh that much, and I was able to easily run for hard balls without a problem. However, they are bulky, but the weight isn't a big deal. The Pump technology didn't seem to do much either, and I rarely pump them.
From: Mike, Waukesha, WI, USA 05/06

Comments: These shoes are excellent. The comfort, traction, and stability are great. I just got these shoes a few days ago and was prepared to get a heavy shoe based on all the other reviews but I will say that they are not heavy at all. They are bulky for sure but not heavy, and they do not hinder court movement at all. I would recommend these shoes to anyone.
From: Tim, Ridgewood, NJ USA 04/06

Comments: These shoes were terrible. The durability, cushioning and traction were all good, but the weight of this shoe is ridiculous. Also, they look quite bulky as well. I would not recommend these shoes to people looking for a lightweight shoe. It feels like you are running around with 5-pound weights on your feet.
From: Andrew, San Francisco, CA, USA 04/06

Comments: I did not find these shoes to be heavy! 100% comfort and no break in at all. I am wearing size 9 and find them true to size. TW has great deal in black/red color and cushioning is good (I am expecting it to last for long). You feel secure once you put them and start playing. Barricade II, Yonex SHT 303 and Netmaster are same in weight so how can you call them heavy?
From: Kavin, San Jose, CA, USA 04/06

Comments: Shoes are comfortable, but definitely bulky. I wear a 9; they look like they're 10 (length and width wise). Still pretty good to play tennis with.
From: KM, San Diego, CA. USA 04/06

Comments: I am a 4.5 player that plays 4 days a week. I put holes in both shoes in less than two months. The glue on the midfoot portion of the sole on the right shoe came apart and now the sole flaps with every lateral movement. Definitely have to question why Reebok gave a 6 months warranty. I think this is a poorly made shoe.
From: Chad, Birmingham, AL, USA. 4/06

Comments: I found these shoes heavier than most also. I play around 3 times a week and coach fulltime. I bought them in January of 2006 and by the middle of February they are starting to run out of tread in the heel and forefoot. Toe durability has been fine and comfort has been great after a brief breaking-in. The pumps are a bit of a gimmick, I find the shoe more comfortable to play in without the added tightness of the pump feature. The straps certainly add stability and prevent the laces coming undone at awkward moments. All-round a good shoe; best keep your receipt and an eye on that 6-month guarantee though.
From: Greg, Surrey, United Kingdom. 3/06

Comments: I switched to this shoe from a discontinued Fila shoe that was excellent. Tried about 10 major-brand shoes before settling on this outstanding Reebok product. It is incredibly stable, cushioned and supportive. Undoubtedly the best shoe out there if you don't mind the weight. I didn't feel the weight of the shoe at all, didn't think of them at all until I was finished playing. Highly recommended.
From: Gary C., Kinnelon, NJ 04/06

Comments: This shoes are durable, it took me about 3 months to get a hole in them, it is also nice that they come with a 6 month warranty, that makes the shoe very afordable. These are very confortable shoes as well. If you dont really depend on your speed to win points then the weigh in these shoes should not matter at all, but if you do it might take a while before you get used to them, Personaly I thought the weight in this shoe was not that bad. Very durable and comfortable!!! brilliant shoes.
From: Daniel, Phoenix, AZ USA 03/06

Comments: My first thought when UPS brought the box to my office was, "did they pack rocks in with the shoes...or maybe some free lead tape for my racquets?" At well over a pound-a-piece, they ARE a heavier shoe. That being said, my narrow foot finds a happy home in the Match Day Pump. The 360 degree strap really holds the foot in place and the pump mechanism customizes the fit quickly. Good cushioning, good support, good (yet bulky) looks. Outsole appears to be tougher than some New Balance shoes I tried that had a lifetime guarantee (they lasted about 2 months with me playing 2-4 times per week). Glass half full outlook: Think of the great shape your legs will be in by wearing these shoes around the court!
From: Dustin, Fresno, CA, USA. 6/06

Comments: I bought these back in July, and they just tore on me this past Thursday, Feb. 23rd, 7 months later... very durable, and the most comfortable shoes ever, i had to buy another pair. Now that they are cheaper, its much better:) I was looking into getting the new Barricade 4s or the Nike Air Zooms, yet they just dont provide the comfort that this shoe does. Its great and if you are looking for a shoe that will keep your feet feeling great, I'd suggest it. Even though it does weigh more, you get used to it.
From: Kurren, Katy, TX, USA 02/06

Comments: These shoes are awesome. I love the feel, stability, and comfort of these shoes, and I think they look really cool too. I have heard that these are heavy, but I don't think they feel heavy at all. These are probably the best shoes I have ever had.
From: Mike, PA, USA 01/06

Comments: I just ordered my second pair. The shoe is very stable and provides tons of support, you won't roll your ankle in these shoes for sure. It is definetly a great buy for anyone that plays tennis at the competitive level, so far the durability has been quite fine as well considering I play 3-4 times a week.
From: Matt, Manty, WI USA 01/06

Comments: These shoes are one of the worst pair of shoes I have owned. Given everyone's positive reviews of the shoes I figured they'd be an excellent pair to try but was wrong. After trying to break the shoes in, I came to the conclusion that these were just not for me and should have been named "Reebok Marble Day Pumps"- as they create the feeling I get after accidentally stepping on a marble barefooted. I'd better off playing 5 set matches in Payless shoes. My disgust lies simply with the Reebok Pumps and not Reebok. The Reebok Bonzer shoes gave no pain at all, and were cheaper at that.
From: Jay, TX, USA. 1/06

Comments: The Reebok Match Day Pump is the only shoe at TW that when you read through user feedback the comments are 100% positive, and with good reason. Although a tad on the heavy side and not the most beautiful shoe, they are comfortable as can be, with the best cushioning you can find and the added bonus of the pump's custom fit. With other shoes there always seems to be something I'd like to change - a narrower toe box or higher arch support - with this shoe they are perfect just the way they are. If you have any kind of foot problems that require cushioning and no slipping inside the shoe, this is the ONLY shoe you should buy.
From: Lance, San Francisco, CA, USA. 12/05

Comments: These shoes are great! I have had these shoes for the past 4 months. The only reason I bought them was because of Roddick, but I have learned to love them. They are amazingly comfortable and they are a little heavy. I strongly insist getting shoe spray, because if your feet sweat then they tend to stink a bit. What can I say, Reebok you did a great job with this shoe
From: Eric, Richmond, Virginia 11/05

Comments: These are the best shoes for tennis at the moment, I have recently tried the new babolat team all court and there is no comparison. The Pumps give you great stability, traction, support and comfort, I cant say the same for the babolats, the traction on the babolats was completly terrible, there was no cushioning on the sole and all together a very displeasing shoe.
From: Josh, Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada 11/05

Comments: I posted about these shoes when I had them for only two days. Everything I said then goes even more. Once totally broken in these are the best feeling, wearing and performing shoes I've ever had. No more pain in my heels and no more pulled hamstrings. Thanks again.
From: Jim, Oak Ridge North, TX, USA. 10/05

Comments: Overall a good shoe. Definitely bulky and my little toe seemed to chafe against the side. Durability is great and I like the strap even if the reviewers didn't. Traction is reliable too. I still like the Nike Breathe II better.
From: Nick, Dallas, Texas, USA. 10/05

Comments:Great shoes. I love Reebok and their pump design. I'm not a big Roddick fan, but Reebok rocks. These shoes are very comfortable, have great durability, and are not heavy at all. I'd recommend these to anyone. Go RBK!
From: Thomas, Raleigh, NC, USA. 10/05

Comments: The Reebok Match Day Pump's are the best shoes I've ever had they are super comfortable and they have great support. I now had them for 2 weeks and they just get more comfy every time I wear them out on the court I currently play tennis at the collegiate level and I needed a shoe that could withstand the hard court abuse most people would rate the weight an issue, but for myself I'm already and speedy player and weight is no issue for me I give this shoes 5 stars for excellence!!!
From: Kennard Johnson 9/27
Meridian,Mississippi,U.S.A

Comments: These shoes are really comfortable. They may be a little heavy but it's nothing you dont get used to in a short period of time. Tennis courts ARE like sandpaper so that 6 month warranty is great. I wore through the sole in 5 months and just got my new pair free the other day...they even let me get a different color! It's a great shoe, thanks Reebok!
From: Cory 9/26

Comments: This is the most comfortable tennis shoe I have ever had. I found myslef starring at my feet while my opponent was chasing down a ball and wondering why it had taken so long to find this great of a shoe. The flat high traction sole is superb. All of that said, the shoe is very warm due to the thickness and because there is no ventilation. Additionally, it is heavier than most shoes. However, these two negative attributes are made up by the comfort and technology. I find the 360 degree strap is a feature i will always look for from now on; the stability it provides is great. Similary, the pump is handy for quick tightening during a match. By the way, i always wear a 10.5, but wish i had ordered an 11 on this shoe; i think it runs slightly narrow and short due to the excellent padding. Get it, you wont be sorry.

Comments: Great shoes. I love Reebok and their pump design. I'm not a big Roddick fan, but Reebok rocks. Shoes are very comfortable, great durability, and not heavy at all. I'd recommend these to anyone. Go RBK!
