Comments: I string my racquets with Pacific Natural Gut 17. I pre-stretch the string pulling the stretch length about three feet and repeat it about three times. Then I bring it in the house and string my racquet. It plays wonderfully. I tried Prince Premier W/softflex 17. I pre-stretch it, too. It plays better than natural gut. It feels like natural gut. It has been two months playing 3 times a wk. The strings do not move any and I have no fraying. Man this is good stuff. Thank you Prince for making a product that really works.

Comments: I used this on Dunlop Biomimetic 100. First trial was full-bed: absolutely great on everything but spin. Not that I'm a heavy spin player, but the string 'moved' too much that just didn't bite the ball enough. Cut it straight away so that I could hybrid it. Second trial was to put it as cross with Poly Star Energy 17 as main. Played quite well in the first 8 hours, then it frayed a lot that made the Poly Star Energy 'move' badly too. I cut it after about 12 hours playing, not bad. Third trial was to exchange the main and cross. It was the greatest performer of all combination, but with one main drawback: it snapped after 2-3 hours of playing, twice. Summary: This is a truly nice string. Its comfort will fit well for children or older player, as well as gut replacement. Advanced players need to take note on its durability.

Comments: I have this string on my Full House @ 34 lbs. It is an amazing string. Miles above factory strings and anything cheaper. I will be trying other strings in the future, but you can't go wrong with this string. Plenty of power, tons of feel (never knew what that was before), very soft and easy on the arm/elbow (just to differentiate between feel and comfort), very accurate. I might string 1 lb. heavier next time, but I love the current settings.

Comments: This string really plays like natural gut. I strung it in the mains 58lbs with Babolat revenge on crosses 50lbs on Pure Drive cortex and it really didn't lose the feel and power despite the combination with a stiff poly.

Comments: I had to comment because this string is so good. Very elastic, holds the ball well and easy on the arm. It's definitely a "feel" string and if you are swinging like an ax murderer you should probably be playing with a poly string anyway (unless you don't mind frequent re stringing). Excellent on touch shots around net and hitting dippers and topspin lobs.

Comments: Hey all. This is the best string I've ever put in my racquet. It took a session or 2 to adjust and I'd strung it a bit tight (61) originally but as it's lost some tension the feel just keeps getting better. I've used Tecnifibre X-One Biphase and it feels good, but lacks the playability of this stuff. I'm looking forward to trying it a bit less tight on other racquets and will update with feedback soon.

Comments: This string should be replaced after 12 hours of hitting. This string is incredible, and not for some who just started playing the game. It is extremely soft, has tremendous control, and holds the ball in the pocket for what feels like eternity. If you are a decent player, and want to elevate your game a notch, try this string out. If you don't like the idea of replacing your strings as frequently, try the 16 gauge.

Comments: Definitely arm friendly as I now have no arm problems since switching to this string. Nice feel, which is a must for me. Strung at 55lbs, which gives great power with touch. Comments: I had my 13 year old daughter's O3 White strung with this string at 62 lbs. The strings were a mess after two weeks; lost tension started to fray in a couple of spots. Definitely not a durable string. It does have a nice soft feel but you can't count on it for more than a week or so if you hit the ball hard.

Comments: It doesn't matter who you are, most strings at 17 gauge usually break fairly easily. If your looking for durability at 17 gauge, try the Polyester strings or Luxilon products. I use Prince Premier at 17 gauge because of it's dwell time and it's ability to hold its tension extremely well. It really does have all the attributes of natural gut, which also breaks fairly easily. You want your strings to pocket the ball and increase that valuable dwell time for control. Prince Premier, in my opinion, the best strings to date for holding tension and playability.

Comments: I am a solid 3.5 singles player and I did not think I hit the ball that hard. However, I have had this string break on me two times. Once it broke before an important match. I like this string but I am always worried it is going to break on me during a match.

Comments: I tried these in my new Liquidmetal Instincts. I've been playing with the Head Intellitour strings for a while but was recommended these at my local shop. Now, the Intellitour is a very elastic string, but the Softflex is almost ridiculous. It offers good power and *lots* of bite. In fact, there's so much bite it feels like the ball is pocketed too long in the string bed. A little like playing with those big grommet racquets, which I don't like too much. I might try these strings again at a higher tension, but most likely I'll switch back to the Intellitour.

Comments: I picked up some of this string at the Tennis Warehouse tent at the Indian Wells tournament. I have been using Wilson NXT and the Prince salesman told me the Prince string had the NXT beat a mile. NOT. Not only did it break after 2 sets of mixed doubles and one set of singles, it was hard and had no feel. To compare this string with the Wilson is a joke. But, the joke was on me.

Comments: This is a first rate 17-gauge string. It is a very elastic string, so needed to string 5lbs tighter than when I string with Laserfibre XL-lite 16 gauge (which I also love). You definitely get good power from these strings, but also good bite (ie. control). So far, durability has been very good especially considering the 17 gauge thickness. I use it on my new Prince Thunder Rips and will probably stick with this string for the long haul.
