Poly Star Energy 17 String Customer feedback
Comments: Very soft poly with good power. Was very easy on my arm and played very nice.
Comments: I strung this in the crosses at 57lbs and natural gut on the mains. It is a very soft and powerful string
with good spin. Strung with the gut it provides a great feel. It took a while to get used to the extra power but once I did that extra
power really helped my game. I think I will stick with this hybrid combo for a while.
Comments: This is a very soft poly and it is easy on my elbow. It has good access to power and spin but I found it
does not hold tension like Genesis Black Magic. Nonetheless, it is a string I would recommend to friends.
Comments: Very nice and soft poly with good feel and power. Pretty good price as well so I can't complain.
Comments: This is not as good after stringing 4 sets on my racquet. I was hoping that it would perform better than
MSV Hex 1.18 and Weiss Cannon Silverstring 1.20. I still liked the MSV Hex more than the Polystar Energy. The Polystar string
opened up too much during rallies and the ball pockets too deep into the string bed which caused me to lose control.
Comments: I just installed this string on my Prince Rebel as a cross (53 lbs) paired with Wilson Hollow Core as main
(55 lbs); the Energy was a replacement for Luxilon Adrenaline 125. First impression was quite negative: power and spin were
pretty much the same, but came with a more dead feeling. Then after having another 15 minutes warm-up, thing's changed. In a
hard stroke the ball seemed to sink pretty deep on the string-bed and repelled with great pace, spin and accuracy. However, since
it's only used as a cross I can't say the difference between Energy and Adrenaline is tremendous, but it's definitely appreciable.
Now I look forward to seeing how the string will perform on long-term usage, which Adrenaline did pretty well.
Comments: I have been testing plenty of polys. This is one of the best string so far. I am getting control, power,
and good spin from it. I use APDGT. I used to use RPM and BBO before.
Comments: One of the better polyester strings out there. If you want something soft that will be nice on the elbow
and good comfort, this is a great string. It plays very uniquely for a poly.
Comments: Very soft on the arm without losing all the benefits of a poly. Good pop, good spin, and amazingly
good touch. Price isn't bad either. Definitely worth a try at least.
Comments: This string is really good. Love the power, spin and feel I am getting with this string. It has more power
and better feel than Luxilon and it is 1/2 the price in sets and 3-4 times cheaper in reels. Good stuff, try it.
Comments: Very soft, comfortable polyester string. I really like this string as it performs very well in all different
department. Would recommend for others to try
Comments: This is an excellent co-poly string. I got a bit too much power from it but really liked the softness of
the string. My elbow has been sensitive as of late and this string solved the problem. One of the first polys that I ever was able to
hit drop-shops and slices like I did with Natural gut back in the day.
