Comments: This is the best racquet I've played with in 20 years. The write up emphasizes its power - which in an oversize head 27.6 inch frame can be detrimental. However, once I found the right string for the racquet (in my case 17 ga. Prince original syn gut) the racquet settled down substantially and I can hit out on the ball, from anywhere on the court, without concern. Using an oversize head provides definite advantages on quick exchanges at the net, etc. Maintaining control of the oversize head and frame length is like icing on the cake. I highly recommend this racquet to those considering an oversize frame.
Comments: 17g-I broke these in the 1st hour of play, I haven't used them since.
Comments: Feel and playability are fantastic, especially when you consider price. The drawback is durability. If you hit hard with a good amount of spin, you will break these strings in a few hours, if not less. I broke three sets in 2 ball machine sessions. The last coming after only 45 minutes of play on the strings. I do string my own, but unless you carry more than 3 frames to each match, it just isn't worth the trouble, even at such a low price.
Comments: This is my main string of choice. It is a great overall string-crisp yet cushioned and durable at the same time. You know when it goes stale when the mains start moving a lot. That's when it is time to restring.
Comments:Great string on my head prestige classic mid strung at 55 lbs. Excellent
topspin, power, precision. Drove one of the coaches berserk last weekend at my club.
Comments: A good string for the price with nice control and spin but its lasted
me one day before it popped. I bought a reel and I re-string my racket everyday.
Comments: I was skeptical about this string because of the low price, but it hits
with great pop and has the best "feel" of any string I have tried. I have heard you need to
restring more often with this string because of breakage and tension loss due to the 17
gauge but so far that hasn't happened. It is a great bargain string! I am using it in a Prince
Graphite II OS at very high tension (72lbs.) and I'm going to try it in a Head Prestige Classic
600 now.
Comments: This string is fascinating. You have the ability to hit with power and
accuracy!
Comments: I like this string a lot but I hit pretty hard with heavy topspin due to my
western grip. Although I love this sting it only lasts me about 2 hours which isn't enough to
be affordable.
Comments: Good power, good feel, good spin, good control, crisp feel, and the tension remained good without the string moving around a lot. I play with the Head Ti Radical Midplus and I strung the racquet at 60lbs (rec tension 50-62lbs). I played with this string several times before it broke after a total of 38 hours. Even before it broke the tension remained good and the strings did not move around. I am a 4.0 level player with a western forehand and a one-hand topspin backhand. I have a full swing with moderate swing speed. This sting is rated a 9 in playability and a 6.5 in durability. If you play with a dense string pattern (18x20) like I do then durability is not an issue with this string. But if you play with a large racquet with an open string pattern (16x20 or 16x19) then I guess the durability would suffer. Overall, this is a very good string. I liked it a lot. I had good control, good feel, and good
spin with it. I would definitely buy this string again. For my game and my racquet, this string
turned out to be a serious bargain.
Comments: Great string. I have a Prince Triple Threat Warrior MP. It is strung with Prince Original Synthetic gut 17G at 60LBS. I can consistently serve over 115MPH with this combination. For info, I have added 4 inches 1/4 lead tape at 3 and 9 and overlayed the 'tungsten' strip at 2 and 10 with two inches of lead tape. For the relatively low price, it cannot be beat. There is a reason that this string is still
around. I have tried the same gauge with Duraflex, but the 'pop' that the original delivers
cannot be matched. Don't be fooled by the low price, its great stuff.
