Nike A.C. Ballistec 1.2 W/Yellow 2E Men Shoe Customer feedback

Comments: Terrible shoe! Hard, bulky and narrow at the front. Blisters on my little toes and abrasions on the insides of my ankles. I thought they would brake-in eventually but I've had them for weeks and they still feel horrible each time I wear them. My advice is, don't buy them but if you must perhaps consider trying half a size bigger than your usual size.

Comments: I love the style of this shoe, and it's quite affordable compared to the other ones, but watch out. You have to make sure you purchase half less than your allowable size, as it seems to get lengthier over time.

Comments: If you are looking for comfort, stay away from these shoes. They are very hard and uncomfortable! You need to get gel insoles. The positive is that they are very durable. I am not satisfied with any Nike shoes other than the Air Max Breathe Cage ONES. I am going back to my reliable Barricades.

Comments: It took about a weeks worth of playing to break in. I found the front part of the outsole around the toe area to wear down extremely fast. Faster than any other shoe I've owned. I feel it may be due to the pattern used around the toe area. I've noticed small chunks of rubber just breaking off on the first day of use. I've used Breath Free for a few years, which are much more comfortable and easier to move in. Prior to those I was wearing other zoom air series shoes. Heel support doesn't feel as good as Breathe Free either, I 'feel' more than I should after a game. On the basis of the fast wearing outsole, I predict these shoes will last me 2 months play time, max before a hole will be created. Nothing has changed in the way I move since the last pair of shoes. I can't recommended these shoes. Court Ballistic 1.3 also seem to have the same pattern up front.

Comments: Good shoes. They took about a week and a blister to "wear in" but after that they are very solid. Extremely grippy, very supportive soles for aggressive tennis. They don't breathe as good as the Air Max Breath Frees but what does? I had those but the soles flat out broke on me. Not many frills or gimmicks but solid for hard play.

Comments: This shoe has absolutely no arch support and makes your feet lean inward. Although the 2E width was OK, not happy with this shoe.
From: Steve, Atlanta, GA USA 07/09

Comments: Fitting it in the store it was ok. But during play it was bad. The worst shoe I have ever worn. I bought the wide version that claims to be 2E. I am only a D and just like the other guy who reviewed this shoe, it tore up my feet. My little toe is sore from constant rubbing and my medial malleolus area has blisters too. The shoe has lousy arch support and overall feels flimsy. The only thing nice about this shoe is the toe drag and soft tongue.

Comments: I Love this shoe! Awesome to wear and it looks cool. Not the lightest shoes I've worn because before this I used Fila Punto and Adidas Feather, but overall, after a while I don't feel that this shoes is heavy.

Comments: This is the first tennis shoe I've purchased in this price range. Not that they are cheap, but I own a couple pair of vapor IV and V's which are a little more expensive. I wanted to see how a shoe like this compared to the high-end versions and I have to admit I was surprised at the quality of this shoe. The sole feels very similar to the breath cage and the comfort is pretty close as well. I like the shoe because it looks very nice on my feet, it is light weight but took a little longer to break-in than other shoes I have. The differences I felt with this shoe--compared to a more pricey shoe--came after about an hour of play on a hard court, I could start to feel there wasn't as much cushion under the ball of my foot and therefore it started to ache when sprinting up for a drop-shot or stretching for a forehand. Overall, I would highly recommend this shoe because it felt very stable on lateral movement and besides the lack of shock absorption it was comfortable and well constructed for the cost.

Comments: Shoe is true to fit. The shoe was kinda of hard at first but once you break into it, it works well. It is a simple clean design that works well with most high school uniforms. (mine is red and white).

Comments: I found these shoes to be well gripped and descent padding for the bottom of your feet, but they seem have a nasty seam line right along your toes. They tore up my feet and my pinky toes are super sore from constant rubbing. These shoes are for very narrow footed people.

Comments: Excellent shoe! This shoe has great support with a manageable weight. It is very comfortable and is a great improvement over my old Barricades. Highly recommended!
