Nike Air Court Ballistec 3.1 Wh/Obsidian Men Shoe Customer feedback

Comments: There is a reason these shoes are cheap in price, and that's because they're cheap in quality. I play 6 times a week and I've hardly worn them for a month, but the outsole has already worn through and the stitching is starting to undo.
From: Faiz, 12/11

Comments: I have had these shoes for about a month, and the durability is horrible. The outsole has already worn through and the inner forefoot is starting to wear on both shoes. On the up side, however, they look great and they feel nice too.
From: Ryan, 9/11

Comments: I had to send this shoe back and I read all the comments. This shoe is extremely narrow. I've worn Nike's my entire sports career and these shoes were stiff and tight. They were just not the right fit for me.
From: John, 9/11

Comments:You get what you pay for. These are unusually cheap for a Nike shoe and there's a reason. I find they're cheaply made. I've always worn Nike shoes for basketball and never had a problem, but these are wearing thin and I developed a heal bruise in one summer. They do look good and the price is good but it seems like it's too good to be true. Trust your instincts and skip this one.

Comments: Don't waste your time with this shoe. I love Nike shoes, and I wanted to get a cheaper shoe because paying over $100 for a pair gets old after a while and expensive when you play everyday, as demanding as high school tennis is. But the money is worth it because this was one of the worst shoes I've owned. They are heavy and footwork is torture with these on. Maybe I'm just picky but I can't stand these.
From: James, 8/11

Comments: This is a really great looking shoe but was a little stiff out of the box. They absolutely are much narrower than I expected even after reading other peoples reviews. I like the durability of this shoe. I rarely slide or anything on hard court and they helped my to win my first tournament.
From: Garrett, 8/11

Comments: Comfortable shoes but has really bad durability. Had them for about two months before they needed to be replaced.
From: Mike. 6/11

Comments: I had my air bubble break in the shoe within about two weeks as well. A little heavy, but felt good I thought. Sole started to wear out in about 3 months. Was reconsidering re-buying but everyone else is almost against it, so I'll continue my search.
From: Dustin. 6/11

Comments: The worst Nike I've ever owned! Wearing at the toe after just a few hours. Very little cushioning and what cushioning there was broke down after the first wear. Would NOT recommend even for the casual tennis player.
From: Brad. 5/11

Comments: It's been two months and three weeks on a daily three hours on hard court training. There's been lots of running and continous play. The shoe is GREAT, the best I have ever tried for tennis. The fit is tight and gives lots of support to the feet. The only problem is they need more ventilation. After 15 weeks of daily training the sole practically disappears, and my right shoe has a big hole, so the 6 month guarantee I think is just for the weekend player, NOT FOR the serious player.

Comments: I had to replace my incredibly old & battered City Court 3s. I couldn't find anything. The Federer Vapors were comfy but the heel strike was too much & too early. Then I found these. The heel strike is just right for me, the arch is minimal (almost non-existent), which I prefer to too much (see adidas). Also the outrigger on this shoe is just right (not huge). My only complaint so far is breathability. No ventilation in summer heat -- bring extra socks. I just bought my 2nd pair of these and I might buy a third. Apparently this is the "knock-down" version of the Nadal sneaker but I'd rather buy two of these for the price of one Nadal set.

Comments: It's great shoe for the price you pay. It feels similar to the 2.3. If you don't like the extreme snug fit or high arch support of the 3.3, try giving this a shot.
From: Jessie, Honolulu, HI, USA, 4/11

Comments: I tried them on today and so far, a pretty good shoe for the price. Feels like the old 2.3 but the arch is slightly lower but not by much. Durability, can't say anything since I've only had the shoe for a week. Also the outsole is super!! Gives me enough grip to get that explosive acceleration and side to side movement, but has enough give to allow some, but only some sliding, (probably only a inch at the most). The only complaint that I have is the Breathability. When wearing the shoe casually not any problem. Then when you start playing your feet get sweaty, but not that hot. I've only had this problem with this shoe. If you do get this shoe I highly recommend an aftermarket insole and if you're going to a match in these bring extra socks.

Comments: Air bubble in heel broke after two weeks. Shoe feels stiff and heavy.
From: Trevor, Parma, ID, USA, 03/11

Comments: Really good shoe but a lot narrower than expected and a lot stiffer also. Overall the shoe is really comfortable after worn in.
From: Jason, Stockton, CA, USA, 03/11

Comments: Good, cushioned shoe but the arch support is not good and the upper wears fast; the outsole is really durable. I will save and wait for the white blue courtballistec 3.3 but overall it is a good looking shoe and they work really well on hard courts.
From: Sebastian, 03/11

Comments: Shoe looks great then I put it on and it was shorter and narrower than the other pair of Nike's I have of the same size. I have a wide foot and these didn't do the trick. The arch felt more forward than I needed and the toe box was pretty narrow. Shoe also a little stiff. There was a lot of cushion in the "Air" heel and forefoot.
