Comments: After grinding through 3 or 4 pairs of Prince T22's, I figured I would take a shot at these to see if they might hold up better and be able to fit my slightly wider than normal feet. It could have been a real disaster as the last pair of Nikes I had were when Agassi still had long hair. After about 10 hours of hard practice time on the court I would give them an A+ so far. I go through shoes like water as I am one of those who treat a hard court like clay most of the time, sliding a few feet sometimes, often dragging the back foot, so I don't expect most shoes to last through such treatment. These have been fantastic so far. I see no signs of visible wear other than a bit off the bottom tread. Great breathability, and a lot more structurally sound than the T22's. Good flexibility and so far great durability. I don't know what the webbing on the top is made of, but it's pretty well thought out as it allows the shoe to bend well while giving lateral support and keeping the cloth parts off the court when dragging the toes. I'm impressed, and the move was a good one. Prince is going to have to come up with something better to get my business back.

Comments: First off these run small. I am surprised not too many reviewers have mentioned this, I wear a 6.5 to 7 in men's sports shoes and had to buy a 7.5. Buy a 1/2 size bigger than you normally wear, as these run narrow and tight.

These shoes however really lacked in durability. I wore a hole right through the big toe of the sole. Very disappointed with how long these didnt last me.

The major con is that I've only had them a month and half and the front part of the sole near my big toe is significantly worn and soft. It's only a matter of time before a hole appears. I play 3 times a week both singles and doubles. This shoe should come with a 6 month durability warranty.

Comments: After a few hours my foot really started to hurt. Bad pain in the arch area. Arch area felt a little too high and too narrow. Almost started to feel like I had two large rocks in my shoes. Never had that problem with Nike before.

Comments: I am a high school doubles 2s varsity tennis player and I find these shoes very comfortable. I have been wearing them for 4 weeks with a two hour practice everyday on school days. The grip on the bottom of my shoe is now flat and when I lunge for a quick volley or have to split-step I slip.

Comments: I play college tennis, and have bought shoes consistently from tennis warehouse for years. I always make the decision to go with Nike, and have never once been disappointed. These shoes are excellent, especially given the price. Durability is as good as it gets, with absolutely no comfort sacrificed. Overall, it's nicely balanced and not too heavy. I've already recommended it to my entire team, and would do the same to anybody playing either indoor or outdoor tennis at every intensity level.

Comments: Although this is a great performing shoe, it's durability is quite poor. I've only had them since Christmas, it is now the end of february, and there is a whole in the right toe, only playing 2 hours per week (it's winter and expensive to play indoors). I am quite hard on my shoes, and am a toe-dragger, but still.....I guess I will have to go to the Court Ballistecs, even if only for the 6 month guarantee. Too bad, as these were really nice and comfortable shoes.....can't afford them at this rate though.

Comments: Nice weight, styling, fit. Shoes need about an hour of break in. Bottoms feel slippery first time out. Forefoot area lacks adequate cushion, feels hard and flat when you run. Some call this low to the ground feel, I call it pain. The herringbone tread wears down quickly at toe and ball of foot. Since Vapors have stability issues, your best bet is Ballistecs.

Comments: I have previously used the Lunar Vapor 8 Tours and the Court Ballistec 3.3s but have thought them to each have their own extremes. LV8s having a durability problem after a month of continuous play and the Ballistecs having a heaviness and bulkiness factor and some really tough break in time. The Breathe 2k11s are right smack dab in the middle and provide the durability of the 3.3s and also the maneuverability of the Vapors. I really love them and they felt broken in right out of the box!

Comments: Coming from the 2K10's, the 2K11's are: slightly heavier, much more stable, offers more support, stiffer, and more padded on tongue. Otherwise, sole and foot bed sit just like 2K10's -- low to the ground with great traction, meaning also low cushioning in footbed, but same as Fed's custom Vapors.

Comments: I bought these shoes because I saw a pro playing with them in a local ATP tournament and from that point on they stood out to me. He won the tournament and I needed new shoes anyways so I started doing my research and decided on these. These are by far the best tennis shoes I have ever had. The cushioning is amazing, they are light, and they look amazing. I got these out of the box and went and played a 3 set match and they gave me great feel. I could change directions much quicker then I could before with my old shoes, these are just overall amazing shoes. I suggest them to anyone that needs new shoes. They give you the best feel of the court and are so light. If you buy these shoes you wont regret it.

Comments: Honestly, I think these are the best shoes on the Nike tennis shoe line out of all of them. The Court Ballistec 3.3 is too bulky and takes too long to break-in. The Vapor 9 is lighter and faster but lacks support. The Zoom Breathe 2k11 has both. You could wear these right out of the box and play a three set match with no problem. They are super lightweight. They also have more support, making them just a tiny bit bulkier than the 2k10s, but its not that big of a deal. Anybody that doesn't believe me should go watch the Tennis Warehouse review of this and then come back.

Comments: I purchased these one month ago and whilst comfortable straight out of the box, after approximately 10 hours of wear on hard courts, the outsole is starting to show significant signs of wear. At this rate, I will be lucky to get 3-4 months out of them which is a very poor investment for the price. A previous shoes (adidas Barricade 5) lasted well over 12 months with same amount of weekly use. Would not consider buying these again.

Comments: I love them. I have been looking for a clay court sneaker and these had the right tread. After reading the reviews about the 2K11 having more stability and cushion, I took the plunge. First time using them was this morning. My foot is medium arch, medium width. They felt great. Well cushioned in the heel, great stability. I use the Barricade 6's for hard court. The 2K11's for comparison feel like a snowboard boot vs the Barricade 6's which feel like a ski boot. The 2K11's have great stability but not over the top like the Barricade 6's. I am very happy with my purchase. Great traction on clay, not as good as the Babolat red/white shoes for clay, but still good.

Based on what I have seen, the tread will last about 2.5 to 3 months on the hard courts. Comments: I got my pair of 2K11s yesterday and played in them for the first time this morning. Some initial impressions:

1) This is not an updated 2K10 - the shoe feels plusher, more stable, and beefier than the old model. Nike may be doing to the 2K10 with the 2K11 what Asics did with the Resolution 2 when it came out with the Resolution 3. This shoe feels more like a CB 2.3 than it does a 2K10 - and that may be a good thing.

2) As a result, the shoe needs more break-in than the 2K10. I will update in a week or so and let you know how that goes. The shoe may be more like the Nike Cage in that respect.

3) In general, there was less "slop" in the toebox than the 2K10 and the foot was help into the shoe more securely. There was more cushion and this this may also relate to this being a more durable model than the 2K10. The tongue was more padded and the shoe felt more comfortable, as well.

In short, if you were looking for something like a lighter CB 3.3 or a more stable and cushioned 2K10, this may be the shoe for you. It seems to be the missing link in the Nike line, a relatively light, breathable, stable, cushioned performance shoe that appears to be geared to be more durable than the prior model. I am liking the changes Nike has made in this model. More to come as this shoe breaks in.

Comments: In the quest to replace my last pair of Vapor VI, the Vapor VIII seemed logical but didn't come close to the snugness I was looking for. I tried the Ballistecs 3.3 as well and the heaviness was evident. They were also pinching my midfoot but might have broken in if I gave them a week or so.I didn't like the 2K10 because I found my foot swimming around in them but I liked the changes made to the 2K11. The TPU FitFrame in the heel coupled with the Lunarlon forefoot set- up exactly replicates the Vapor VI. Additionally, a closer look revealed the lacing pattern includes the last extra stagger drop lacelet to provide that extra bit of hold, just like the Vapor VI. That's what the Vapor VIII and 2K10's were missing. The herringbone pattern is exactly the Vapor VI. I just finished playing an entire weekend of matches with them. I am very happy.
