Comments: This shoe is amazing. It is like wearing running shoes. I teach tennis for living, and I wear these things 11-10 hours a day. They are amazing. By far the best tennis shoe I have ever tried.

Comments: These shoes are really comfortable, but they have terrible durability. Mine wore out in 1.5 months! They do, however, live up to the "ventilation" feature. Overall, they are a comfortable shoe while they last.

Comments: Great tennis shoe. Great ventilation, superb grip and very comfortable after being worn a few times. Due to my relatively wide feet, I needed to wear comfort socks due to comfort issues but once the shoe has been worn in, the shoe is very comfortable. I move better with these shoes as I can trust the brilliant grip the shoes give me.

Comments: MV4 is comfortable during minor walks and runs; this shoe would be okay for people who don't go after the balls. But, when I have to run hard, push off from one foot, my foot would slide laterally. In fact, my right foot got crunched and it still hurts after about a month. Tying the lace tightly doesn't help, only chokes up blood supply. Lace loosens up easily too. It makes a great looking expensive walking shoe.

Comments: After trying on a number of different shoes with my tennis pro's guidance, I chose these because they felt great when I tried them on. However, after the first use, I couldn't wait to get these things off my feet. I gave them a second try. The left shoe broke in fine, but the right shoe produced a painful blister on the top of my right big toe knuckle. I tried loosening the lasing above the area, but then the shoe had no support. For the first time ever, my ankle turned over when changing direction which could have caused a serious sprain. I have rather wide feet, and have always found comfort in New Balance shoes. I returned these and bought the New Balance 822 and they are excellent. If you have wide feet and like stability for all court play, beware of buying this shoe. This is probably a better shoe for narrow-footed base-liners. Didn't work for a serve and volley, all court player like me.

Comments: The MV4's felt terrible out of the box...after a few day of break in they felt ok but there’s no way to tighten the toe area which caused my toes to slam into the front of the shoe every time I stopped, leaving my toes feeling terrible every evening after playing...I'm on my high school team and play about 2 hours every day and only wore these shoes during playing to maximize how long they lasted.....the bottom is pretty durable but the upper part of the shoe is a not very good! After about 2 weeks the sewing had come undone everywhere around the shoe especially in the tongue area making tying the shoe almost impossible and on the sides of the shoe where the silver plastic part has completely come un-sewn and is just barely hanging on making this shoe unusable...Because of this I wouldn’t recommend it.
From: Taylor, Fort Worth, TX, USA, 04/07

Comments: Cushioning is nearly none existent. After wearing them for three days of play, my feet feel as though someone took a baseball bat to the bottom of my feet.
From: Juan, Tampa, FL, USA, 04/07

Comments: I've hardly ever had a problem with any shoe I’ve worn out of the box, and the same was true with these. I have wide feet so I’m kind of picky about the shoes I wear. After a while of breaking them in though I don't feel like they support the front of the foot very well. My toes on each foot seem to be constantly slamming into the front of my shoe when I stop fast or change direction. Not very compatible with an ankle brace either. I would not recommend these shoes for wide footed people, or anyone wearing a brace because the front of the shoe just does not get tight enough.

Comments: Great job Prince! The MC4's are the best shoes I have ever purchased, and I have spent hundreds of dollars in search of the perfect pair of tennis shoes. The MC4's were perfect right out of the box. No break in needed. The cosmetics are classy, and the comfort is outstanding. I am a 4.5 player who plays 3 times per week and have had a problem with toe dragging, but the MC4's are built to take the punishment. In addition, the Prince outsole guarantee makes these an absolute no-brainer. I wholeheartedly endorse these shoes for all types of players - from beginners to advanced. I'm going to order another pair ASAP. Well done, Prince!!!

Comments: I recently got the Prince M4s. They are really good looking shoes, but they are very stiff and have very high heels that are giving me some blisters. I also did not notice anymore ventilation than my old tennis shoes. Great shoes but not for the price!
From: John, MO, USA, 01/07

Comments: Straight out of the box, I played a four-hour charity tournament. And the shoes performed great. Excellent support and ventilation. My feet felt amazing after being on them and running hard for four hours straight. I am a 210 pound guy who can move fairly quickly for my size, and the shoes were very supportive when I needed to come to an abrupt stop and redirect in a heartbeat. I love these shoes, and they are much better quality than my old pair of 1002's from New Balance.

Comments: Great shoe all around. Ventilation is great. On days when my feet should be feeling red hot, these feel great. It was slightly uncomfortable out of the box, but once broken into (1-2 hours of play) they feel great. No complaints with this shoe at all.
From: John, Austin, TX, USA. 11/06

Comments: I have worn this pair of shoes for two weeks, playing 2 hours a day and two tournaments and definitely do not like them at all. I have developed two big plantar calluses on the inside part of my feet just below the big toe. Moreover, my feet hurt the next day and that had never happened before. I have chosen this type of shoes because of the amount of mesh they have since I have diabetes and I like for my feet to be able to "breath". I think Prince should have made the V (ventilation), S(stability) and C (cushion) shoes all in one. These shoes are the biggest no no after spending $100 + taxes.

Comments:This is a great shoe. In my 20 years of playing tennis I think that this is the best shoe that I have ever owned. If you have narrow feet, his shoe is a dream come true. The MV4 is more stable and not as wide as the Prince T-10. The T-10 foam midsole is too soft and was giving me knee problems. The MV4 is stable, fits narrow feet really well, is very comfortable and looks like it will be very durable. What more could you want? (Besides a better color scheme?) I will be buying more of this shoe and the MS4 before they update them and ruin them.
From: Anon, Waikiki Beach, HI, 11/06

Comments: It’s a good shoe with durability and great feel. However, I think that it lacks in stability a lot. I felt awkward when I was moving laterally on the court. It needs more support for the ankle, comparable to the T10.
From: Andy, Southlake, TX, USA. 10/06

Comments: I wear shoes out very quickly, 1 to 2 months. I decided to try these because they have a six-month durability guarantee. So far they seem to be holding up. They are a very comfortable shoe right from the box. However, I feel that some stability has been sacrificed in order to allow for ventilation. If you like a mesh shoe I would recommend the MV4. I also tried the MC4 and the MS4, also very comfortable.

Comments: Great all around shoe, really built to last. Not exactly playable out of the box, but once broken in, they're a great shoe. Very similar to the T10's, only much better ventilation.
