Comments: I have a pair of these shoes for over 6 months and found them to be both comfortable and durable. I generally play tennis 2-3 times and week. So while they clearly are not indestructible, they hold up well especially against traditional leather tennis shoes.

Comments: These shoes look good, more like running shoes than tennis shoes but unfortunately they are not durable. I have been wearing them for a couple of weeks and already the mesh on one is ripped where it meets the leather.

Comments: I'm a 5.5 player and on my third outing against a player who moved my all over the court, these shoes tore where the rubber meets the mesh. So, I had a hole in my shoes that was kind of dangerous to play in from there. Otherwise, great comfort.

Comments: Great shoe! I'm old school and prefer a canvas shoe in the summer, NB CT 520 have been discontinued for years, which left me with only leather (which New Balance claim breath well - fact is they don't). I need something well ventilated since I can be on the court for many hours teaching and playing. These broke in the first day, are well ventilated (but not as good as my NB running shoes) and great lateral movement control. Also well cushioned, don't know how they'll wear yet, but everything else is good.

Comments:As far as comfort is concerned... this shoe felt great right out of the box. Slight heel-raise, very stable, very light... it really is an excellent shoe. I have a wider foot and was getting tired of some of the Nikes and Addidas narrow platform. My only concern is how quickly they seem to have "worn out". I got them in October and it is early January and I simply need a new pair! Though I was playing 3 and 4 times a week in November, December was relatively quiet. I'm going to give them one more chance to see how they hold up.

Comments: Excellent Shoe. Light, snug yet flexible fit, good cushioning, decent arch support and a cool breathable feel. This is probably the most comfortable New Balance shoe I have had. I get quite a few compliments on the looks as well. I also like the way you can customize the New Balance Shoes with a range of inserts that always fit perfectly into their shoes. I put the New Balance sport cushion inserts in these and they feel like a cream puff. I will definitely be buying a second pair.

Comments: I'm a 3.0 player and usually play 4 times a week in league play. These shoes hurt my feet BAD!! I went as far as buying inserts to see if that would help. No dice. Can't get through a match with out hobbling around. I switched back to my Babolat Propulse and feet are fine. As casual kick around shoes they are fine but for tennis I can not recommend them.

Comments: I play senior men's doubles and am a 4.0 player. I've been wearing 12D 40 years and the 782 in 12D was almost impossible to get my foot into. I returned the 782 12D for the 782 2E and there was very little improvement. It was still too tight even with my thinest tennis socks. New Balance's quality control needs improvement. It's strange that their older model 781 in 12D was so large I had to wear two pairs of socks.
