Comments: I've gone through several pairs of the 1002 and never had any problems. I tried my first pair of the 1003 and have been very disappointed. Shortly after wearing them I noticed a soreness in both knees that I never experience before. Perhaps the 1003 platform is too steep for my relatively high arches.

Comments: Most comfortable tennis shoes I have ever worn. Great playability as well.

Comments: I tried these on prior to buying the 1002's. The 1003 is wider and has that infamous clunky feel to it... I believe the 1003 is for a true wide foot while the 1002 is a medium wide foot. I'd say I'm medium; if it feels like a you're barely wearing it... KEEP IT! After years of clumsy logic and $1000's put into bad fitting shoes, I now ask myself 2 questions before buying new shoes; as I try them on at a store. Am I wearing my shoe? Or, is it wearing me?

Comments: Very comfortable shoes however, it does not provide enough lateral support for me. It feels soft when I push off, and the grip on the treads are amazing, almost too good. After playing with these shoes I was afraid of rolling my ankles.

Comments: These are very good shoes for people with ankle, perineal tendon problems. Very firm/good lower ankle support with the NLock system. The mesh breathes very well; superior to any leather shoe I've tried. Thankfully yes, the toe box does run slightly larger, which I needed. The lacing system is superb though, locks my foot in without cutting off circulation.

Comments: This is very wide in the toe box and runs true to length size. Comfortable with good traction on soft and hard courts.

Comments: They fit better than 1002 but clunkier. Arch support does not seem as good as the 1002s. Nicer lace system.

Comments: This shoe fits better than the 1002, but a little clunky. It plays well, though. A lot of people at my club seem to getting them so they must be working well. I won't hesitate to get another pair.

Comments: Sole pattern does not look as well suited to clay as 1001 and 1002 models were.
