Comments: These shoes are probably the best pair that I have ever owned. I was a huge fan of the Adidas Barricade but due to the heavy weight of the shoe and the lack of durability (since the Barricade V) I have become a huge supporter of this shoe. Although the durability is nothing to shake a stick at, the shoe definitely grabs your attention with its amazing color combination (Black and Green). With this shoe weight is not an issue, it's a relatively light shoe for the type of category it is trying to place itself in. The cushioning in the shoe is a amazing. Very comfortable (even after wearing it for 1 month now). I highly recommend this shoe to any 4.5+ player who are looking for a comfortable and stylish shoe.
Comments: Not heavy at all, really comfortable and supportive. Love the shoe, but hate how quickly they wore out. 5 weeks and done; unbelievable.
Comments: Really? I didn't think they were heavy at all. I often have comfort issues, but found them very comfortable and stable. I'll definately buy another pair before the style changes.
Comments: Really heavy!!!!! It may weigh just about as much as the Nike Air Zoom Vapor
VI, but it is not balanced nearly as well. The weight seems to really be set around the forefoot and heel, utterly awful balance! Very good durability; still looks like new after playing intensively with them for a few practice sessions. However, if your feet are as massive and strong like the Hulk, you should not have any hindrance in moving laterally or vertically around the court. If you're feet are not quite this strong (like mine) good luck!!! Pretty good for durability, support, and cushioning, if you totally abuse you're feet as you
play, like Nadal, you will have these shoes for a decent amount of time. If you move smoother and slightly less abusive on you're feet (closest to my movement as a young junior) you will feel like you have actual weights on you're feet. Heavy as heck!!!!! The shoe, I have to say, have a really nice European flair to them. (It's Lacoste of course, style and flair is their first priority). Fashionable if I might add, yet heavy as logs. All in all, a C+ for me, 75/100. My advice, as I own these shoes myself, purchase a pair of the new Vapor VI's, or Vapor V's, if they're any left in you're size as they are the previous model, that Nike is unfortunately not making any more. (They were brilliant shoes) I highly recommend the current model Roger Federer is sporting, the Vapor VI, a pretty darn good shoe as well. Light, fairly durable, look fantastic, very good support, good balance, and very nice and smooth cushioning... Finally, don't get the Gravitate if you are light on you're feet, as they are extremely heavy. Consider purchasing a pair or two, if you are flat out abusive on you're hooves. Best advice, get either the Nike Air Zoom Vapor V's or VI's, or possibly the
Djokovic Shoe, the CC genius. (I heard they're decent as well)
