Comments: Well, what can I say, this racquet is very demanding. Don't get me wrong, it's great, I love it, but for me to really activate the sweet spot on it, I had to plow through the ball. It's fairly easy for me to plow through it with a straight arm forehand though. Off-center shots can be a nightmare though. it's not very forgiving when you don't hit it just right. be ready to supply your own power too. Overall good racquet, I love it!

Comments: I just bought this racquet and I love it. After 30 minutes I get used to it. I noticed I lost a lot of power, but in the other hand everything I hit bounced in. At the net I did not good, but I am pretty sure it is me, not the racquet... lol. I used to play with a nCode 6.2 (skunk), and this racquet behaves completely different, you can give any ball a full powerful swing without launching it out of the court. Furthermore, at $89 it is a steal!!!

Comments: My son is a top player in Boys Florida 14's. He has been using the Wilson Kfactor team for several years. This is a predominate racquet among juniors in Florida. The team is extremely accurate and light. Its an 18x20 and spin comes hard however. We were in no mood to switch because everything we tried didn't compare and we tried many racquets. I bought a pair of the K Pro's after trying a friend of mines and last night we did a comparo using a ball machine. The KPro came out on top in all areas. Serve speed was better, straight line accuracy was better, spin was better and punch through volleys were better. This is of course a profession level frame and amateurs will not like this racquet. It is purposely designed not to make power so that when your on the aggressive move you don't end up hitting the ball out by a minor miscalculation of power. If you do have great strokes however and good perpetration you can just kill the ball and it will go in. If you love to crank on the ball but you don't want to wrestle a racquet because of weight you just cant beat this frame. The best part of it is the sound. I think it tells the whole story if you know what I mean. If you don't then just keep playing until you do.

Comments: I replaced my nPro Open with this racquet. I had added weight to the handle of my nPro, which helped but I wanted a more forgiving stick. The kPro Tour came pretty close to the specs I was looking for. I switched to a leather handle last year and I love the fact that this model comes stock with one. I strung them with Babolat Hurricane 17's at 55M/53C and after some hitting, I knew I would love it, but needed to add some lead tape to the hoop. Slices were floating and returning felt a little unstable. Tape at 3 and 9 was too much, but 4 and 8 was perfect. I got a little more power, more stability, and all the other attributes I was after. After two weeks, can't recommend this racquet enough!

Comments: I'll be the first to admit that I'm not the best player around, but this racquet is very...strange. When you're "in the zone" you will absolutely love this racquet. However, if you're not, I'm not so sure. It's unstable, and definitely is low on power. However, it does have good control, and because of the head-light balance, it really does do wonders at net. Put 10 grams of lead tape total at 3 and 9 o'clock, and this racquet will be much more dependable, as it has been for me. Also, the one thing that this racquet is really good at, is that it's a good "desperation racquet"; where running forehands and quick, out of balance shots will be great (such as when your trying to save a pt after your opponent has hit a short ball down the line).

Comments: I had been playing with the Wilson Six-One Tour line for the past 4 years and recently decided to try a new racquet because the 6.1 Tour is such a difficult racquet to play with unless you are Roger Federer. I tried the head prestige line and off the ground it was great, but because the head grip shape is very flat I could not figure out my serve. I then picked up the K-Pro-Tour and found that it was perfect. For the first time I felt as though I had found the perfect racquet. Great spin and power along will feel and control. I had tried stringing at lower tensions before but I never felt as though I could control the racquet if I strung it in the 40's with my old 6.1 tour's, but with the K-Pro-Tour I immediately felt comfortable with the low tensions.

Comments: Don't be fooled by the price. This racket is definitely something that needs to be demoed at least once. I bought it back in September, hated it, and kept playing. After a week, I adjusted, and now, 5 months later, it's all I can hit with. The only thing I have to say is to have it strung at high tension. This maximizes the control, which is game changing. I say this after switching from a 120 inch^2 racket to this. It's a beautiful racket, there's nothing else to it.

Comments: I've been using this racket for more than a year and my game improved a lot during that time. Very low power racket which is good for my style game, big swings and strokes and the ball still in. Also quite unstable out of the sweetspot but fair shots when you hit clean which have forced me to be more precise. Do not put cheap string and try low tension ranges. Slice and volleys go easy, I had to try harder in the service specially the first one.

Comments: Ive owned 2 of these racquets for about 8 months now and have really enjoyed my time with them. When I first got them I noticed immediately that they were extremely head light and lacked quite a bit of power. I found myself overswinging to try and compensate for the lack of power and the result was a lot of short weak balls and I got pushed around a lot. But I ended up adding quite a bit of lead on both of them at 3&9 o'clock to bring the strung weight up to 12.2oz. This still left the racquet about 4-6 points head light but ended up making it feel so much better. I was able to get more power and depth on my strokes without having to try and kill the ball every swing and service returns became much easier because of the extra mass in the head. All in all I can see why they discounted this racquet sooner than the other K factors because the stock play is so so but once you customize it with a little lead in the head the play is simply outstanding with this racquet. Very glad I made the move to pick these up it was great for my pocketbook and great for my game. I came from a prince speedport tour stock setup and had been playing that and speedport blacks for the previous year and a half. Glad I made the switch.

Exactly what I wanted. slightly stiffer than my old racquet, but this helps with volleys and my weak one handed backhand. I definitely recommend it to advanced, high swing speed players.

Comments: After playing and trying a various setup with strings I concluded that this racquet can behave in many many ways. Of course this racquet doesn't give you the power, so you have to work a lot with every stroke, but hey, that's not too bad. To really plow through the shots and not having to be careful about perforating the wall is nice. A complete polyester setup gives you great control, but after 1 hour of play you are for sure sore in elbow and shoulder. On the other hand multifilaments only give you more power, but also a tendency to lose a little of that wonderful control. After trying perhaps 20 hybrid setups the ultimate setup for me (hard hitter/ hard working baseliner) is Luxilon mains at 28 kg and Wilson NXT at 27.

Comments: Awesome stick!! Groundstrokes hit the backstop (in the air) almost every time and happy to say my tennis elbow has finally returned. Serving was even better, second serves sit up real nice with little pace. This racquet has been a pure joy to hit with it just feels like butter in my hands, lots of vibration and the sweet spot is nice and tiny. This has got to be one of the best racquets I've ever played with. The only downside to this racquet for me is off center shots don't twist quite as much as I like but I will add 2 oz. of lead to 9 o'clock. Hopefully this will take care of it. Comments: It took a little straying and fiddling... but now I absolutely love this racket. I let my Pro Tour sit around for a month or two after I bought it because a friend gave me an old classic 95, and I couldn't resist trying that out for a bit. I liked the heft of the Classic but ultimately felt sluggish with it. Going back to the Pro Tour, I added quite a bit of lead (3& 9, and counter weight in the handle)to bring the racket up to 352 grams but preserving the stock balance... and BOOM... it was magic.. Lots of plow but still feels somehow very light and fast. The headspeed and spin are amazing. Sometimes I feel like I just can't NOT hit the ball in, and serves (slice, kick, flat-heater) feel precise and controlled. Using the Pro Tour for a wile now, I feel like I have (or it has) kicked my game up several notches...
From: Stephen, Bavaria 11/09

Comments: Really a great frame, similar to the prostaff 6.0 95, but slightly lighter but definitely enough heft to handle pace. Great at net, very maneuverable, stable, and great swing speed for the kick serve. great feel too, have this nice "thump" sound when hitting the sweet spot, you'll like it.

After 4 months of use I have finally find out how to use it. It's a great racquet but takes a little getting used to. Now all other racquets are way too powerful and out of control for me. This one I can hit with big swings like Soedering and ball still goes in. Backhand slice is awesome. Volley never flies out. I was wonder how pros do the drop shots so well - with this one anyone can do it because it has no power at all -drop shot goes over the net and dies. This is the best I ever had.

Comments: I ordered a matched pair on sale for less than my last racket and got frames within 1 gram of each other and nearly identical balance (pencil test). Control and feel are similar to 6.1 95 but at much lighter static weight (which is amplified by the 10 points headlight balance) which translates to greater swing speed but less stability on off-center shots. After two hours of hitting, I added lead tape at 2 and 10 o'clock position to bring weight to 12.4 oz, and this provided a nice heavy shot with control. This racket is perfect for customization due to head light characteristic.

Comments: After 2 years of playing with the KPro Tour, I have decided that this is got to be one of the great sticks of all time. I have played with many player's rackets in the past including the likes of Prostaff 6.0 85/95, ncode tour 90, kfactor tour 90, Prestige Classic, I Prestige and so on. The KPro is the most versatile racket that I have ever played with. It is so easy to swing that I, at 48, can still swing with great speed and hit hard serves and outright winners on ground strokes. My 7 rackets all weigh between 11.6 to 11.8 ounces, which, for me, still has enough mass to plow through the ball especially strung at the low 50's with multifilament strings. I have collected 7 of these for my collection before it goes out of production.

My topspin forehand has become my major weapon yet I am still able to drive my DTL backhand deep and flat! As a high school coach, my players are continually interested in what frame I am playing. Comments: Good racquet that's easy to play with. Doesn't have the plow through the Ksix-one 90 has that I'm used to playing with, but I find myself getting my racquet on more shots thanks to the lighter weight. Very accurate racquet, but lacks a little touch. I find it sometimes takes too much off your opponents hit and could probably stand to be a little stiffer. I might try stringing a little tighter next time. I mainly purchased because the Ksix-one 90 is too demanding of a racquet for me at times and this racquet is a good compromise. You do have to murder the ball to put power on it, though, so if you have a weak swing you're going to hate this racquet.

Comments: I tried this racquet on a whim. My first thoughts were that it has a very odd feel to it. I couldn't quite feel where my shots were going upon contact. After playing about 20-30 minutes with the K Pro Tour, then going back to my K Blade 98 just to compare, I felt like I couldn't make any shots. My K Pro has now grown very comfortable for me. I love the feel and placement I get with it. It really allows you to hit out on the ball and it still finds it's way into the court. I have now switched to the K Pro Tour over my K Blade. I love the head lightness, and open string pattern. I get much more spin and control with K Pro compared to the K Blade. It's awesome on volleys and serves too. Comments: I bought this racquet off this site without even trying a demo as we do not have it available in South Africa. After doing much research and reading all the comment about the racquet I took the plunge and bought 3. Most of the comment suggested that lead weights needed to be added to the racquet to increase stability and power so I did without trying it stock standard. I struggled a bit in the beginning as I had 100 sq inch racquets before. Then I decided to play without the weights and wow, what a change! My serves improved, groundies were good and volleys were solid. I think the increased headspeed allowed for more pace and spin which is great. I strung it at 55 but will go down to 50 to get a bit more power. Great stick Wilson!

Comments: I was searching for a racquet that would reduce or eliminate my shoulder problems and since demo is not available in my country I have to rely on the specs and feedbacks. I've previously owned and played with Ncode 90, K90, Kblade 93, TT warrior MP, and the last one was DNX 10 mid. At first my concern for this stick is that it's a bit thick for my standard at 22-24mm, but I like the weight and its HL balance so I gave it a try. Coming from a DNX 10 mid I felt it was a bit unstable, has a bigger sweetspot, more spin friendly, very maneuverable and very low powered. However, since I have a shoulder problem this stick has become a nice fit for me, I have used it for a week and so far the shoulder has reacted with it positively, power is the least of my problem since I can generate it myself, I also like its spin potential and because it is light and has a low swingweight, maneuverability at the net is a plus factor. Although with only a week of experience with this racquet overall I feel this is a nice frame and a perfect fit for my shoulder and for my game (I serve and volley a lot), I feel like I can adjust to its negatives at the moment when I get the hours needed of playing with this stick....I loved my DNX 10 mid but I think it's time to move on for me...and I think this is it....

On the bright side, it will train me to have better form and focus on the ball more. Don't be cheap like me and use a crappy string. Use a soft string so it doesn't feel like a piece of plywood. I added lead to the 3' and 9' and it's much more stable now. Unlike some others, I enjoyed groundstrokes. Lots of control and enough power. Comments: I had a light overhead racquet and I always complained about hitting home runs on the court especially with my backhand. I have a large swing and like to hit the ball fast and strong (this is where the tennis fun is about isn't it?) Well I changed to the K Pro Tour and I was surprised how my topspin backhand shots started to enter on the court, I can apply a lot of speed and strength to the swing and still having lots of control, I was really amazed. I am a tennis beginner and I can feel how I have now the door opened to shots I already quit trying before, there is a lot of potential in this racquet, low power as some of the reviews say. If you like to hit the ball hard you can still get a lot of speed and power with it, the size and weight is just right and the best thing is the enormous control! I am still working on the service with it, for some reason it has been hard to adjust for me, but that might be something personal. I noticed how I am improving just changing to this racquet, if control is what you are looking, this is the option.

Comments: Excellent all around racquet: easy to swing, plays better in my case without a dampener, pinpoint control, stable against hard hitters and tough serves, down-the-line backhand and forehand are accurate and easy to execute, under- and top- spin are mechanically more than sound, excellent pace on kick serves, easy to maneuver even in a 5th setter, older guys-this racket is just fine for you, although has a thicker beam the control is never in doubt and guess what, you can swing as hard as you want. This sleeper is underpowered, just put in your favorite string and attack the ball, the spin is wicked and the wiper inside-out forehand shot is an absolute winner. Very, very nice racket indeed, I hope you'll enjoy it too!

Comments: At first I fell in love with the feel and control of this racquet. It feels great on forehand cross-court, but you don't learn about a racquet until you play matches against really tough players. Since buying two of these racquets I am playing the worst tennis I've played in years. The racquet can't maneuver easy. My best shot is my inside out forehand, but with this racquet i cant get the racket around in time. Deep in those matches the racquet feels like a board and feels like it weighs a ton. One shot I rely on is my defensive skills. I can't use my defensive shots when pulled wide just to get the ball back deep. Hard to generate topspin. Late in matches i can barely serve with this racquet. I have to swing as hard as i can just to get my kick serve to clear the net. Maybe when I was 19 I would have been able to handle this racquet but not now. This racquet is not for a topspin player or grinder. If you have that kind of game don't waste your time with this racquet.

Comments: I am switching from a Wilson KFactor K6.1 Tour. I love my 6.1 Tour, but I needed a lighter racquet, so I switched to the KFactor KPro Tour. This racquet is the best racquet I have played with, the stability is wonderful. The downside to this racquet is the lack of power.

Comments: I've loved this racquet since the first day I played with it. There's easy access to topspin, great racquet for players who have a big swing and are aggressive baseliners.

Comments: I have switched to this racket from the 6.1 Classic 95 because the 12.6-ounce weight of the Classic is starting to cause me some arm problems. I loved the feel and control of the Classic but its just not worth the wear and tear on my wrist. I hit with a western grip and take big cuts at the ball and the Classic is just too heavy on my forehand. The K Pro Tour is about an ounce lighter, but is similar in balance to the 6.1. So far I like the KPT and have noticed a little less stress on my arm. I do miss the weight and plow through of the 6.1, especially on my backhand, but its not a bad trade-off if it avoids an injury. The KPT is very quick around the net due to its lighter weight and head-light balance. I'm not totally comfortable with the KPT from the baseline, but I'm starting to get the feel of it. The KPT is not particularly powerful, but I swing hard and don't really need much help in that department. I'm messing around with different strings and tensions to see if I can get the right feel. Overall, the KPT is a good choice for someone who wants a lighter player's racket and generates his/her own power.

Comments: I demoed this racquet some few days ago, I regularly play with the KSix-One 18X20 (I love my racquets), I still do not know if I will change to this racquets, but I really enjoyed playing with the KPro Tour, flat and spin shots are easy to control, blocked returns land deep, volleys are crisp and easy, spin serves have huge bite, man! Comments: I have now bought two of these rackets. The first I tried for a while and felt it lacked power and could not get used to the small head size - previously played with the 100 sq in Kpro Open - am glad I picked it up again and changed the string to hollow core at 56lb and its been a revelation in control and enough power but its the purity of strike and feel that is impressive. The slightly smaller head size gives more stability and I love playing with this - just trying to find best string set up - hollow core at 56 great, superspin at 54 - ugly.

Comments: I bought quite a few racquets at one time to demo then resell; K Blade 98, K Blade Tour, K Pro Tour, have owned the K Factor 6.1 (both the 98 and 90), and a couple of Prince racquets. For reasons that suit my game, I like the K Pro Tour the best. I get plenty of power off the ground, and noticed an mph improvement on my serve. I use Luxilon Big Banger ALU Rough @ 60 lbs. I play about 4 times a week and have noticed slight pains in my elbow and shoulder. I'm going to replace the grip with the K Blade 98 grip to help with shock. By the way, the strung-weight is 11.6.

Comments: This is my 2nd post, and now I've been playing this stick for 6 or so months (long after "break" period and "new" stick fascination) and still is amazing what the k pro tour is in practical terms, in real play benefits. I used to have TE problems and never had them again! My game won consistency like never before....I feet like I need to buy more than my 2 sticks just in case... 100% no more no less! Great control, good power if string in low tension, easy head movement in volleys. Highly recommended for players in their late 30s who are used to old sticks.

Comments: This is my second post. I was playing with the K6.1 90. After suffering a dramatic lost in league playoff, I realize I have been limiting my potential with such a demanding stick. I switch back to my KPro Tour again. Simply put with the KPT96, stay relax, push through the ball slowly and accurately, you are rewarded with all the power, spin, and control you ever need. Same on serve, relax your shoulder, push your leg up and spin your core, the ball will slice down the line with pace and skid off the court. And given the head lightness, simply open up the racquet face for volley, lock into the coming ball and pushes through. The KProTour become so easy to play with that I can do more shot making, playing style, and feel less pressure playing with it than when I was welding my K6.1 90. I salute all the macho man out there who keep embracing heavy demanding sticks. But for a competitive league player playing 4 times a week, I will pick up a stick that I can always swing and hit easily under MY control. I don't feel tired nor do I need muscle rub or massage after long tournaments now. I am a solid double specialist at 5.0 levels with occasional singles match play. I surely pity Federer having to wield this stick against top players wielding something lighter like Murray, Nadal, Simon.

Comments:Great racquet. I used a K 6.1 tour 90 before, but shoulder problems got me looking for a new stick and I'm glad I tried this one. Flat serves are hard to get moving, but once I started using a fuller and faster motion I was bombing 130+ down the T. Volleys are more solid than the Tour 90, and groundstrokes are unbelievable. It gives you the perfect amount of spin and height over the net that it lands on the baseline every time. I feel it's as close to the 6.1 series as you can get. All in all, a great racquet for those looking for a lighter players racquet.

Comments: This racquet is great! It gives you more control and spin too but the downside is serves. I would say the only thing about serves is first. If youre a flat server like me, for some reason the power is harder to generate. Second serves are perfect, it allows lots of spin. I dont know about me but if I were to rate this racquet, I would rate, Forehands-9/10, Backhand 7/10, Volleys 8.5/10 (felt maneuverable), Serves 6.5/10, Overheads- 6/10

Comments: I've been using [K] factor team until I realized that I wasn't getting the power I needed for my game anymore. So I've demoed [K] Blade Tour. And the racquet was great! It gave more control and power when needed. Although it was harder to put topspin on my defensive forehand, my backhand slice was sharper than ever. I would recommend this racquet to player who likes to hit flat. Since this racquet is pretty stiff, I would recommend players to lowering the string tension 2-3 lb than their standard string tension.

Comments: Purchased this racket after trying several player's frames. I'm in my mid-forties and have been playing for 30+ years. The racket I was using before this was a Pro Staff 95 7.5si and was close to 15 years old. This is a great frame and works well for an overall game. If you like traditional feeling Wilson head light rackets I highly suggest giving this one a try. I had the opportunity to play with this racket with four different string set ups and am amazed at the difference. I've hit with Gamma Syn Gut 16g @ 55 lbs, Bi-Phase 17g @ 60 lbs, Topspin Cyberflash 16g @ 52 lbs and VS Gut/Enduro 16g Hybrid at 53 lbs. My favorite is the VS Gut/Enduro with the Topspin a close second. The Bi-Phase was too powerful and the Gamma had little feel.

Comments: I've demoed this racquet several times. The first time, the racquet felt like a board. I had very good control on my groundstrokes and hit some pretty solid serves with excellent pace. Volleys were also good. The most recent demo, I decided to try some different strings & reduce the tension from 59 lbs to 50 lbs to soften the feel of the racquet. The best strings to soften the feel were Prince Synthetic Gut w/duraflex and Prince Premier w/softflex. The Premier softened the feel the most. The softer strings definitely helped. This is a very good racquet, but it may be too stiff for me. I have experienced discomfort in my elbow area each time I've hit with this racquet and I'm very surprised no one has had the same problem. If you're looking for a control oriented racquet this will satisfy, but beware of how stiff this racquet feels at ball impact. Also the accurate RA rating is 65. In closing I will not rule this racquet out, but I will demo more flexible racquets (i.e. Babolat Pure Storm Ltd.)

Comments: I demoed a bunch of racquets when I decided to get a heavier racquet than my Boris Becker DNX V-1 MP, which helped alleviate a case of tennis elbow. These included the Becker Pro, Head Prestige Pro, Head Extreme Pro, Dunlop 200G, Prince Speedport White Pro, and Prince Speedport Black. I even bought a Speedport Black since the KPro Tour demo wasn't available from my local shop. But, after one night of hitting with the KPro Tour I've found my new stick. Great spin and depth on serves, great topspin from the baseline without fear of overhitting, nice precise control, and not too heavy for net play doubles. I think I'll try initial stringing with NXT tour 17 at 54 lbs.

Comments: Never tried it before buying it and I really don't regret my choice. Gives you all the liberty you need with that light head. Topspins and slices were even more effective than before with a full clean movement. More on a personal side note, my serves improved drastically without even trying. I was really able to "smash" that ball with a flat wrist position, something I was never really able to master (was mainly slicing the ball). Freedom and control would be the 2 words that come in my mind.

Comments: I demo-ed this racquet, and I have to say I love it! I am definitely going to purchase one. I could hit through the ball with confidence that it would go in. My serve improved dramatically since I could whip the head around so easy due to it being so headlight. My net game improved tenfold with the maneuverability and the lower power than my AeroPro Drive, with so much more precision. The smaller head takes some getting use to, as once in a while I would shank the frame if I did not hit the sweetspot. I think once I put in my string of choice rather than what the demo had I will be a happy camper.

Since 2000 my primary rackets are Head Radical MidPlus strung at 62pds; great for doubles and serve an volley. However, this Wilson KPro Tour is a little easier to maneuver, especially the resultant backhand accuracy improvement. Power is not a problem "if" you know how to use it - good stringing makes a difference. My 2 cents.............

Comments: I agree with a lot of feedback here. This racquet is powerless. You will be dead against heavy baseliners. But at the same time it gives you superb swing speed, you can rip at the ball without fear of it going out. This is a very consistent stick. I think it is more suited to players with confidence & great striking power. You can tune it with lower tension to help you gain power. I can't say that I don't like this stick because it just kept all my balls in the court... might not be powerful but the ball is in all the time. If you are a pusher, with this racquet you will be a nightmare to your opponent unless if their gameplay is of higher level.
