Comments: I string this as crosses with 17g Hurricane Pro Tour. Yes 17g mains and
16g crosses. Playing full bed HPT is too springy, but with the 16g syn cross mix, it
balances out the springy'ness and gives it more feel to the ball. The
ball also feels like it stays on the bed of strings a bit longer as
well.
Comments: Just finished using a set of the Kicker 16g. I have used numerous
other basic synthetic guts but I found this one to have a little more durability than the others.
It felt real nice from the first stroke on. I am a 5.5 player with a lot of topspin and the Kicker
lasted me a good 10 hours. I highly recommend this string if you are looking for a some
additional durability in a basic synthetic gut string.
