Comments:One word...CONTROL! The string feels & plays like a traditional poly. It's relatively stiff, however, it seems to reward good performance to players who like to take a big cut at the ball. I've tried this string by itself (57 lbs) & in a hybrid w/ Forten Comp Nylon 16g(60 lbs). Adding to Anon's comment, the Monoblast is particularly stiff by itself (especially at higher tensions), which gave me ample amounts of spin & control. I could rip away w/ total confidence from the baseline, but it felt difficult to control some volleys at net. I seek a little touch & comfort as well as control; mainly on volleys & serves since I play a lot of doubles. I hybrided this poly w/ a softer cross & that made all the difference! Overall, Monoblast is an excellent polyester string, & the reel is only $67.00 (which I now own). Right on Gamma! I hope they keep this one around!

Comments: Great strings for me with luxilon ALU Rough at 60 and the Monoblast at 58 for the crosses. It gives a great pop and more control and spin than my Luxilon w/ Prince Syn Dura mix

Comments: I wouldn't recommend these strings by itself. These are very stiff. But I would recommend them for hybrids. I use these as the mains and gamma synthetic wearguards for crosses. For some reason, even though these strings feel very slimy, they give me tons of spin.

Comments: A nice string. Feels like a wire before stringing, but feels like a synthetic while playing. Nice control and power. Only complaint is that the strings look lime green. Can't wait to see a 17g version in natural color. (strung @55 lbs. in Babolat Pure Drive)
