Comments: I recently bought 2 reels of this to string for the High School team that I coach. The kids love it and the durability has not been a issue. For a coach on a budget this has been a great investment. The string performs well at a range of tensions. This helps to find the ideal tension for each player.

Comments: I'm a former collegiate player, teaching pro, and participant in many Futures Wildcard/Qualifier events. This string is wonderful for teaching, and for my clients. I've played this string in the crosses with a poly mains setup and it gives me wonderful feel. Do yourself a favor, save some money, and buy this reel, especially if you have your own stringer. This is a must have string in a full bed for beginning players.

Comments: The color of these strings does matter. The yellow color ones are soft, not as durable, and tends to vibrate a little bit. I also got the white color ones and those are more durable, play a little stiffer, and has minimal vibration. The sound that comes off from these two different color strings does sound differently. I've used these strings only as a cross string, strung at 55-57 lbs. I say if you are going for more power, then get the yellow. If you are going more for control, then get the white. These strings are so cheap, I say get them in different color and experiment.

Comments: Don't use this string in the mains, as it moves dramatically (0.5-1.0cm each way) after 30 minutes of normal play. Best to only use this string as crosses in combination with a stiff, long-lasting string in the mains. I strung this as a full string bed in a Head iPrestige 93sq.in. racquet and a Babolat Pure Drive mains and synthetic gut for crosses and the string bed moved to the point of being able to put two-three fingers through a gap in the center of the string bed.

Comments: This is a pretty good string! It plays soft and is arm friendly. When it lost its playability I just break, which is around 1 month. I play 3-4 times a week at 2 -3 hours each.

Comments: These strings has good playability and the durability is way below average. Whoever owns a 90 square inch racquet, don't use these strings with old grommets. It doesn't last long and I only recommend these reels if you are a stringer yourself!

Comments: This string is the best bang for you buck. It is cheap, easy to string, soft for the arm, etc. My only complaint is that it leaves marks on the balls just like other players mentioned here. I use it as cross with Tecnifibre Black Code on the main and it works perfect.

Comments: In my opinion, this is very good string. I am semi-pro club player. I have played with this for 6 months and changed it 4 times. In feel it can compete with avery expensive string. It's only weak point is that after 3-4 weeks it loses its tension. But if you have to change it for every 3 weeks, its price is still very well.

Comments: Great strings for the price. However, the strings works best with mid-stiff to stiff racquets and if your racquet is in the flexible side, you will not get that lively feel or pop on the ball (if that's what you're looking for). The string maintains tension fairly well (summertime not so great), it's soft enough to be arm friendly, it bites on the ball well enough to generate spin (the "natural color" Forten not as much), and above average durability with a slow to moderate swing speed. Overall I give this string a 7 out of 10, great if used as a full set and even better as cross (poly strings on the main). For a under $20 reel of strings, you'll get more than what you pay for.

Comments: Well, I must admit, I am surprised. I guess we all have different tastes. I really enjoy the soft mushy feel these strings provide. Over the last three years I have tried over 30 types of strings, ranging from OG Sheep Micro, to MSV Focus Hex ect, I am also not a fan of the Poly's.. Without a doubt, we all have different tastes. I'm not exactly sure why these and the Sweet 16's work for me; and I assure you I don't work for Forten. I string my rackets too often to address any long term durability. I usually like strings at lower tensions (54-52), but these strings at a higher tension still give me that soft feel at much higher tensions (62-60), wile providing me more control through self propulsion. All of my friends have varied opinions, and this is mine. I use a Wilson BLX Pro Open racket.

Comments: Ok here is the low down. First of all this string is very good for first time stringers. It is very maneuverable and is easy to weave. Now I bought a reel of the black and green cause it is so cheap. I strung with the green and I hit for a few hours at about 58 pounds. After a few hits, the strings started to move. After a match they were so shifted around. Not too much tension loss. I played the next day with a friend and after a few hours of play, I hit a huge forehand down the line off a serve and they broke. They do have very good control and feel and spin but just not too durable by them selves. People on these reviews say that they are so durable and I don't get it because I hit with moderate spin and after 3 to 4 hours they break. The next day I strung a hybrid with pro hurricane and some black Forten nylon in the crosses, I played and it was great looked very cool. After a day or so, the black color begins to wear off but that's ok. Overall great string for a better price but not too durable. I would definitely consider it for a hybrid. Good luck!!

Comments: Strings do leave marks of balls. Strings are changing color. These stings are durable. (There are syn guts, which brakes within an hour). These are going to last from 3-4 days to the infinite. Not overpowered (love this fact). Not stiff, they are soft. Can be mixed with any other types of strings. Spin at average (sufficient) level. Strings do not move (do two pieces that is the solution). I play with these strings for 6 months or so. Have mixed them with long list of different kinds of strings. I always used Nylon as cross. Changing brands for mains and keeping these as a foundation. Other people whom I have installed two pieces just Nylon are very happy and play great games too. These strings perform very good at wide range of tension from 39 to 60 Lb. They start getting alive with tension going up, I mean low tension primarily can be used for increasing consistency, higher tension for adding performance. Easy to install. Get contrast colors for mains (not dark) to make it easier to perform stringing. Not crisp (I'm not suffering from that :) ). There are many syn. gut strings like this one in the same price range and with the same playability level.
Can recommend to mix with polyester lower power mono-filament, preferably shaped or textured strings.

Comments: I like this stuff a lot. Very soft, seems to last more than Prince SGD with less string movement (still a lot though), and really easy to string with. It's a bit more on the mushy side feel-wise as opposed to the crispier feel of most other synthetics. One thing I will say is that if you're a heavy hitter, I would avoid getting the black color. I've noticed I now have 3 parallel black lines the exact spacing of my crosses on all of my practice balls! (Thought my ball machine was doing it for the longest time.)

Comments: One string I would use. It is so easy on the arms. I used poly strings before. They gave me tennis elbows so bad not to mention shoulder problems. Switched to this string, shoulder's getting much better and a whole lot less tennis elbow. It has good power, spin and pop. I have my own string machine so durability is not a problem and it costs very little per racket. I would recommend this string with no doubts. Excellent string.

Comments: I string myself, and this is the easiest I have strung with. Very elastic, which translates to a nice, soft, easy-on-the-arm string. The only negative to this string is durability, but given how easy it is to string coupled with the good performance, this will be my string of choice for some time. I typically hybrid this in the mains with a 1.15-1.25 synthetic in the crosses. Do not use something too expensive in the crosses, as the string does not have good durability. As others have mentioned, using this in the crosses of a hybrid is problematic as the poly will eat through this string in no time. It does perform nicely with a cheap string like Gosen Polylon 17 in the mains...a stringer's low price dream!

Comments: Good string that is quite soft, but a little stiffer than prince 15L tournament. 16$ - great price for a string. It hits good, usual spin, power is decent, and it's about in the middle of the weak/power range. There's good pop. I'm a heavy hitter, and I've played 6 hours in these, they are 3/4 through, so they lasted about 4 days for me, but it's so cheap, and I don't mind restringing. I have played with the string in a hybrid. It is good, but if you had a hard poly/co-poly it will eat through this string. I have played with prince topspin, which is a little harder nylon, and it doesn't have any signs of indention, the Forten is taking all of it, so you should probably find a more durable string if you are looking to hybrid, cross, or main...I personally would hybrid this in a cross.

Comments: First of all this string is cheap...really cheap. While stringing, you realize that it is very elastic and soft making the actual job of stringing a pleasure. On the racquet this string performs very well, similar to natural gut. I use this string on older Wilson Jack Kramer Pro Staff wood racquets.

Comments: This string is great for someone that has a big serve and great volleys. This is a great string for crosses in a hybrid. I recommend using it with gamma Monoblast in mains strung to 55#. The only problem I had was durability. It lasted about half a week in the hybrid and 2 days with full bed. I recommend using string savers with it too, but string a little lower so the string savers can add tension with no problem.

Comments: I think most of the posts were from tennis players and thus different results than from racquetball players. Anyways, I restring my own racquets and for friends and for costing $17.00 it hits great and lasts very long time for the average / regular racquetball player. I restring my racquets once a month because it is so cheap and I like the new string feel. You can't go wrong using this Forten string on any racquetball racquet.

Comments: I was very surprised at how elastic this string is when I was stringing racquets with it. It is by far the most elastic string I have used. I have tried many types of syn gut strings out there in the market and this nylon string performs just as good in playability and durability at a fraction of the cost. Use these as crosses with Gosen Polylon on the mains for a cost-effective yet high performance hybrid setup.

Comments: Very soft strings. I use this string as crosses hybrid with Gosen Poly 17g for mains. I have been hitting for 15+ hours and it's not anywhere close to breaking soon. Last time I used the Head FXP Power strings (entire racquet) that feel a little softer but only last about 8 hours. If you're looking for a hybrid string (for a softer feel than all polyester), this is the one to consider. I consider myself a hard hitter with a decent amount of topspin, so this string is very durable when used on a hybrid. I haven't tried stringing it by itself yet, but I will since I string my own racquets. I doubt it will last as long as the hybrid though. Great buy! Low cost, durable, and great feel.

I also play with my old wooden tennis racquet from time to time and had tried different stings on it, but was not happy with how it played until I put this string on it. Comments: I have used this string for months now, and I snap it about every two weeks. At almost every snap, it was near the frame. Be sure to pre-stretch the string before stringing because the string can break easily while stringing (drop weight machines).

Comments: I've had this string about a week, and I've used it on all my racquets now. It feels good and hits well for the price. The strings move around after about an hour of hitting, but the feel and spin are still there. I have my own stringer so I restring about once a week. I play 4-5 days a week about 3 hours per day. I'd recommend it if you are looking for something cheap and affordable but still has a decent amount of spin and feel to it. Can't beat the price.

Comments: As a college tennis player, I am a heavy spin hitter. I need something that has a soft feel, yet lasts longer than typical synthetic gut, which would last roughly 3 days for me. So, I use this nylon as cross with some polyester string as the main and it works very well! It feels exactly the same as synthetic gut and I hardly ever break strings with this combination.

Comments: This nylon plays pretty good, and it makes a good benchmark for comparing string performances. Although it doesn't feel quite as crisp as the most expensive synthetics it does last about 10-20% longer than the average synthetics of the same gauge. It is extremely economical with a great durability to cost ratio. If you have a stringer it works out to a little over fifty cents per racquet. It definitely is great for people who hate the expense of being a chronic string breaker like me.
