Comments: No, I don't like this shoe. Bad toe guard and now my toes are constantly in pain. It is clunky and just feels bulky. I'm returning them.
From: Harris Mac, Daly City, CA. 06/09

Comments: This is a VERY comfortable shoe, even for wider feet, right out of the box. The upper instep area wore easily on mine as the shoes brushed across each other during play, and I'm a toe dragger so I wore through the toe uppers on these within 2 months. They do have a 6-month sole guarantee, but I wore through them in 3 months (I do this to all shoes, so doesn't mean the soles are weak). Still the most comfortable shoe I've worn. Just wish they allowed for more wear on the uppers instep & toes.

Comments: What a great shoe. I have had my shoe 8 months and they have little wear on the outsole, and still have a lot of life in them. I wear them on an average of 5-6 hours a week for match play .... and wear them at work sometimes. They have been the most durable shoe I have ever owned. Maybe I don't drag my feet on the court like some people. There is a little too much room in the toe box, but hasn't bothered my performance. I like the comfort they give, solid support, and if you need arch support , I suggest you get insoles that are molded for your feet. Asking one to come off the rack that way is just unreasonable. It is the best shoe FILA has put out to date.

Comments: A very comfortable shoe with a light leather upper that provide support and flexibility. The shoe feels a lot lighter than its listed weight. All in all a nice shoe for a nice price. It's not always easy to find the right shoe but when you do, they give you the left one for free.

Comments: Good shoe. Especially for the price. Surprisingly durable, usually I wear down 6-month guaranteed shoes in 3-4 months. This one lasted me almost 6. Very comfortable out of the box, provides good cushioning on the court and provides good support. In my opinion not exceptionally stable on side-to-side movement. Front of the shoe is not protected so if you drag your foot, there could be damage to front area. One strange thing - after a game in these shoes my feet hurt in front area. Not sure if this is a shoe problem or I'm just getting older but I think I'll try different shoe next time.

Comments: Great shoe! the material on the top is amazing. These shoes are probably the most comfortable shoes. They can meet the demands of even the most aggressive player speed. See James Blake with these Fila.
From: bryan, NEW YORK. 2/09

Comments: (Compared to the barricade V , vapor) Enjoy maximum comfort with ALFA, upper is amazing!! Very very comfortable. I play about 3 hours on hard courts but with the Fila Alfa, I play all day. I have found the shoes I'll be using the rest of my tennis playing life.
From: NICK, L.A, CALIFORNIA, U.S.A. 2/09

Comments: Terrible shoes. I had holes in them after a few times on court. I agree they are comfortable, but thought they wore out very fast. I will not buy Fila shoes again.
From: Jared, Boston. 2/09

Comments: I had the opposite experience: the Flow Prossimo felt awkward and clunky, while the Alfa feels like a good all-around shoe.
From: Anon. 12/08

Comments: Immediately preceding this shoe was the Fila Flow Prossimo, which felt great and had excellent durability. The Fila Alfa is less satisfactory: Persistently caused severe heel pain, something I had never experienced in 20 years of playing on Fila, Nike, Reebok and Wilson. So I'm going back to Fila Flow Prossimo while they are still available.
From: Robert, Palo Alto, CA, USA, 09/08

Comments: These shoes are solid. They're comfortable without being squashy, stable without being restrictive and clunky, and breathable. They're also quite stylish. A good shoe. I don't understand Ken's comment: "normal" walk doesn't eat through outsoles... I've walked in them and they show hardly any wear.
From: Anon, 09/08

Comments: I didn't like it much compare to Nike Breathe Free II or Adidas Barricade III (even Lotto Revenge is better). If you are asking close to $90, better put something more because outsole starts showing wear even with normal walk. Upper was very comfy and fit was true to size.

Comments: Great shoe! Very stylish and comfort out of the box. Finally some Fila shoes to go with the great cloth.
From: Ruben, Monterrey, Mexico. 8/08

Comments: Not happy with them. They're cool looking but that's about it. I played only three sets and that was enough to know that they're not for me. There's too much room for the front of your foot to move around and there is little arch support.
From: Justin, Phoenix, AZ, USA. 8/08

Comments: Nice features for a mid priced shoe. Lots of cushioning No slip so far and great side-to-side stability. It is a bit narrow than I expected, but really has nice fit.
