Comments: For a large head racquet this one has some fine control and a lot of comfort! I have shoulder problems and am getting older so this easy to play stick is
a blessing. It gives me depth on groundstrokes and touch on volleys with good
pop on serves. The swingweight does not slow me down at all and I find serves
and overheads automatic. This racquet to me is like cruise control on the tennis
court. Thanks, Wilson!
Comments: The racquet is not so easy to swing because of its increased weight, top-heavy balance and bigger head size, as compared with Wilson K3-FX, which is the best racquet for me right now. The AGT device brought this racquet too long holding time, and, as a result, the ball is popping up by slice and volley shots. This is why I stopped to use this one even after buying two frames of this stick.
Comments:As a high level player I have to admit I thought this racquet would be nothing but power and no control. However, I demoed the racquet and it had amazingly great balance of control and power. It is quite versatile and it allows me to hit great shots from any place on the court. Drop shots, powerful, deep groundstrokes, precise angles, accurate volleys, you name it. This racket is a must buy. DO NOT BE FOOLED! It is very good for higher level players!
Comments: Further to previous email I decided that the racket was not improving my game. Perhaps the stringing was too tight. My patient dealers in Uk were brilliant and let me exchange it for a Babolat! It has proved to be very good move for me. Do not buy this racket without good demo- it’s very expensive and I have learned over the years that the most expensive weapon is not necessarily the best.
Comments: It is the best racquet I have ever played with for the past 25 years. It has lots of power with great control.
Comments: Tested the racquet on a practice wall (no way as good as a court!) at the recent Tennis show in London. Decided to buy one for own 61st birthday gift. Getting used to it -more feel and control than my trusty old Head Intelligence 16 chip system and more weight in the Head It came strung by manufacturer with Sensation stringing presumably mid tension recommendation. Cheap racquet cover..No dampener.
Comments: I have been searching for the right racquet for the last 2 years to replace my Wilson H2 which has a lot of power, minimal control. I have always like the Wilson Hammer 3.3. This Cirrus Blx comes very close to the 3.3 with power and less power than the H2. I like this more than the 3.3 as it is less head heavy and easy to maneuver and good control with same power. I have also tried the Prince EXO3 Silver. I don't get the solid feel that I get from the Cirrus One and the Cirrus One has more control with more pace than EXO3 Silver.
This racquet is definitely worthwhile to demo. I have tried all the Wilson technologies from the Hammer series to the latest BLX series. The Hammer series and the BLX are by far the best ones. This Cirrus One has given me so much more confidence to go for shots and be able to swing out and hit through especially in tight situations as compared to my Wilson H2. I love this racquet and it looks great. Hope you will enjoy this racquet as much as I have finally found the racquet to replace my previous.
